He most definitely does. He would have to finish last in his duel to miss the field.Casey Lester wrote:I'm assuming he does. He doesn't have a PCP or anything to fall back on.

She wrecked in all 4 Daytona races she raced in last year, highly good chance she'll do it again.
She really had bad luck last year on the SS
1. Getting caught up in Sadler stupid wreck on lap 2
2. Getting wrecked by a teamate
She was just at the wrong place at the wrong time wasn't her fault..
Hopefully she won't wreck again by some BS

I would certainly hope he doesn't have any PCP. Cuz drugs are bad, mkay?
That aside, my thoughts:
- Super happy Jeff got on the front row.
- Brian's lap was, as for many others, painful to watch. I hope he can at least get competitive but it doesn't look likely.
- Danica's on pole. Good for her.
- The 2013 cars still look sexy. Not much else I can say.
- I expect Stewart-Haas to be competitive, but I won't hand the win to them yet. This isn't 2012 anymore; full-fledged Roush-domination-style tandeming will get you nowhere.

I honestly think it will be a driver who is with a so-so team that will win... Casey Mears or DAVE FREAKING BLANEY

If Micheal Waltrip missed the field, then either Joe Nemechek, TriStar(t & park), or Hamilton Means would make it into the race.
Not sure if that would happen

She wrecked in all 4 Daytona races she raced in last year, highly good chance she'll do it again.
I don't even know why the drivers who qualify on the front row even need to race in the duels, their starting posititions are already determined.
This. If Danica wrecks and has to take a backup car, NASCAR's going to get a LOT of bad publicity, and I guarantee you they'll change the rules for the Duels in 2014.

In my opinion I would hate to see Danica crash out in the 500 considering that she has been doing pretty well in preparation for the first race and the fact that she is on Pole Position.

As annoying as the media frenzy is, I have to admit she's a good driver, (IMO, she actually has a chance at winning this year) she just tends to have terrible luck. She almost won 2 times in Nationwide last year, but got screwed over both times. (was wrecked at Road America, "Shoegate" at montreal) (anyone hear all of the "qualifying was rigged" BS on some sites? Almost makes me want to join them and pose as a NASCAR official/troll the shit out of them)

J I am beginning to think Brian Keslowski's team may be the real world equivalent to Team Burr, With Keslowski playing the role of Paul Lyons, minus the decent results. On an unrelated note, since when did Childress use Fords?

Is it bad that I got so bored, I felt like watching Harlem Shake videos until the wreck happened? Dale Jr. got lucky. Hamlin was being himself by spinning on his own and took out 5 drivers in the process. Inb4 no one can do anything about Harvick and ends up winning again.

That was odd. All Hamlin did was make a slight turn of the wheel to go up a lane and that car snapped around.

4 to be correct.. but they learned from the shootout so they will go, not on the last lap..RealRacer4 wrote:Is it bad that I got so bored, I felt like watching Harlem Shake videos until the wreck happened? Take a good look. The last lap slingshot is not possible with the package. If 2nd place on the last doesn't have help. The leader at the white will win the 500 guaranteed.
