Great Lakes Motorsports owner, Jim More, announced today that he intends to put a petition in to run the #28 car full-time in 2013. More currently runs part-time in the car.
More also stated that if he does get approved to run full-time in 2013 that Mega Mart will not be the primary sponsor. Instead HP Engineparts will sponsor the car. Mega Mart will remain as an associate sponsor.
Is that the same team as this?

The Racing Team to run own Bodykits?
The Racing Team, who has announced a bid at the ARLA Tornado Alley Trophy, are looking for approval to run their own bodykit they are currently developing, the TRT-9000. Reports are that the team is taking this action so that they will not have to spend as much money on bodykits from other companies.[09-30-12](ARLA News Now)
Ike Durbin, Inc. to run Lycoia Bodykits, Own Engines & Chassis?
Ike Durbin, Inc., who will once again field the 86x, has announced they would like to run customer Lycoia bodykits in 2013, if allowed. It was also rumored, that the team would begin their own engine program for 2013, instead of buying customer engines from Lycoia, like they have done with Inglesby this season. Ike Durbin had this to say, "We're definitely looking at it. I want to develop our own engine program, so we won't be as reliable on others. If we do this, which it's looking like we will, it could be rocky in the beginning and I know that. But, to get stronger as a team and become more competitive, I think this is what we need to do."[10-02-12](ARLA News Now)

Matthews Motorsports to stick with Lenard, driver still up in the air:
In a somewhat surprising announcement, Matthews Motorsports decided that it would not end its manufacturer relationship with Lenard, and in fact extended it for the 2013 season.
"I know it comes as a surprise to some of you," team boss Ryan Matthews said, fresh from his lackluster Australian tour in the TM Master Cup series. "We've all read the rumors that we were going to bring the Aspira (OOC: that's what used to be the M12) to ARLA next year, but considering the success Tiffany and I have had with Lenard this year, it was foolish to jump ship. We still have high hopes for the Aspira, but we think it'd be better to get the bugs out of the Master Cup version before we start really adapting it."
The team intends to use the R20 Cheyenne next year if ARLA officials permit. (OOC: Ceej - I'm going to be sending you a PM on this.)
With the manufacturer issue out of the way, one major sticking point remains: who would drive the car? While Matthews noted he'd love for wife Tiffany to return to the No. 116 car, he did acknowledge the rumors of the Lynxe Women's Team's interest in her for a TM Lights spot, saying, "It's too good a deal to pass up. If she's offered it, I told her, she should take it."
If she does, current RROL driver Billy Ray Smith-Thompson could get the ARLA ride. The Floridian is already listed as the reserve driver for the car. Another possibility is Ryan himself taking over the car if he doesn't sign with a Master Cup team next season, though if that happens, he'd like to have the car number changed to 11 - assuming Patrick HENDERSON doesn't return to the series.
"I've grown attached to it," he said. "And I don't want to change my Twitter handle again if I don't have to."

Kiara, a mute from birth, wants to get further into the professional racing league from her short track experience. Kilgore, lost her father at three years ago, and in his final will, he left her his short track race team. She has backing from Black Ice, who seemed to be extremely inspired with her story.

Megan Driver to a part time ride in 2013?
Yes, it seems preemptive, but the team has decided to apply Megan Driver to a part time drive in the 2013 ARLA season. The team already has a sponsor lined up along with Lycoia Motors backing as a secondary sponsor.
Nova Satellite Radio has confirmed it's commitment to the team and has been selected as Megan's sponsor. Cruze-In Detailing however will not be sponsoring any cars as it is closing due to economic woes. Megan will have the number 40 if the team can get it, if not, 410 has been selected as a alternate number.

Racers with Disabilities on Lycoia's potential list of teams?
It seems that rumors are abound that Lycoia and RWD will be joining forces to promote that drivers with disabilities can drive as well as any other driver. Lycoia has slated if the deal goes through, that the team will receive a huge discount compared to other teams.
"It's for a good cause and we are happy to join in this deal with the team. Hopefully things will turn out well in the long run."

Izumi to be Hotshot Racing's engine supplier in 2013
Recent news from this team have come from that they will be using the Izumi V6 for their single car next year in ARLA. Since the relation between the teams common relation to Japan, this is why Izumi will be their Engine Suppliers. In other news, the new number for their car has been changed, to #21. They may also receive a reserve driver soon, for the case if Posadas is unable to race in any of her races.

Kinasa to Groves Racing
In an emotional career move, Andrea Kinasa will pilot the #78 Groves Racing entry formerly occupied by her late husband Scott Morales.

Groves Racing team owner Kenn Groves said of this decision, "This has been a very difficult time for both the team and Andrea. We believe that if we stick together, it will help the healing process."

"I'd love to get back into ARLA. We ran a part-time season with Cameron (Sweetwater) in 2010, but since the new bodies, it's been a struggle to get the stuff together to run, but we'll give it a shot in 2013, see where that leads us as a team."

CONFIRMED: Delgado to Vie for Tornado Alley Trophy, TDR Staying With Nemoto
Two small announcements out of the Tom Delgado Racing camp. One, Tom Delgado will vie for the Tornado Alley Trophy in his #37 Gold Star Security car. The second announcement is that TDR will be staying with Nemoto for 2013, citing the continued strong working relationship between TDR's Tom Delgado and Nemoto boss Takumi Katashima, whom Delgado drove for in the TM Master Cup Series before retiring as a driver there.

McGuffie & Bradburn signed to Team Burr
During this slow news day, Team Burr has announced the signing of Cletus McGuffie and Billy Bob Bradburn, who formerly competed at the self-owned Back Roads Racing.
McGuffie, 35, will pilot the team’s flagship #54 entry. He reportedly jumped at the chance to drive for Burr's fledgling organization, saying of the team, "I got a lotta respect for them Burr guys. I thought the commies killed the Amurican dream, but then these guys come along with nuthin' and work real hard to leave their mark. I'll be honored to drive for 'em."
Billy Bob Bradburn, 37, will act as McGuffie’s crew chief and take on a reserve driver role for Team Burr. Bradburn quipped, “Burr’s stuff is a helluva lot shinier than ours. I can’t wait to fiddle with it!”
The two Arkansas natives will bring the Stelling Country Draft sponsorship with them. It is known that in addition to the sponsorship money, Stelling will provide free drinks to the Team Burr staff at all races next year.

Zavala's driving for Xenos, not Team Burr.

I know, but both 2013 team charts list him as driving the 54 next year. Guess Ceej decided he was too competent.

Big Mac Racing Confirms Partial ARLA Schedule, Other Details
Big Mac Racing has confirmed it will return to ARLA in 2013, but with a partial schedule this time around. While not confirmed whether or not it will be a 2/3 or 1/3 schedule, Thomas Mac did confirm some facts recently. "Makoto Yamada is almost a lock to be our driver still. We'd like to see him in the TM Lights, but he and the rest of us think he can juggle that and a partial schedule here... As for a manufacturer, we have nearly confirmed we will run the Lycoia chassis. We are overjoyed at how good of equipment Lycoia has given us in the Independent's trophy in the TMMC, so we would love to carry over our relationship here. We have sponsorship, but we will not be announcing who it is yet... While the schedule is unclear on all levels, we know for a fact Makoto will be running in all three Japan races next year for obvious reasons. Other than that, it's a bit up in the air."

OOC: Well I would of gone for the #29 but that was already taken, so I went with the #9, but then realised that I didn't want to steal the 9 from Grease Burger Racing, so instead of looking for another number, I just went with A9. So, heh.Casey Lester wrote:Didn't see this coming... Nope... Not a chance...
BIC (Back into canon): Spannerhead Racing have realised the full details of their 2013 campaign.

Re: 2013 Silly Season: Rumors, Gossip, & News
Terry Bolson selected as reserve driver for Terra International Motorsports.
Terry Bolson, who was supposed to go into the ASCC along with Calvin Hobbes, was selected to head to the team's ARLA Reserve Driver slot in lieu of the lack of volunteers.
"I needed a ride, they told me I would be paid for my time, even if I didn't get to race at all." Bolson wrote on his Chatter page. "Glad to get this even though our ARLA program hasn't had the best of luck."
Greg Woodard, who is currently in contention to be... racing in the Apocalypse special come December 22nd, wished Bolson, Driver, and Dempsey the best of luck come 2013. Woodard is due to leave the team for Power Steering Incorproated. While TIMmy and PSI would be rivaling teams in 2013, hopefully the two will keep a friendly rivalry at best. The two teams will be technical allies along with several other teams.

Regarding my entry, this is what I've decided if it gets approval.
Bobby Dollar racing will run the full time 259 C4 Energy Drink car. The team will have a Cromwell chassis and bodykit and an Inglesby V6 engine. 25 year old Canadian GT Driver Barry MacIntyre will drive and the car will use SPRT fuel. Bobby Dollar predictably owns the team.

Hotshot Racing announce their Reserve Driver for 2013
Hotshot Racing have officially announced their Reserve Driver for their 2013 campaign. The driver will be 23 year-old Johnny McFadden from New Zealand. Here is what McFadden said after the announcement, "I'm very happy to get a shot a Motorsport, although its only if the original driver gets injured or falls ill. Still though I've been watching ARLA for a few years and I love it a lot, so I'm happy to get this opportunity."
