To take a quote from Smokey Unick, "You don't race cars, you race the rule book". If you take a look at reading the ARLA Carta and TM Canon commandments, you won't find anything regarding testing procedures and or manufacturer collaboration duiring test sessions. Last time I heard, I didn't need approval to announce that I was testing. Besides, North Wilkesboro is a non-ARLA track anyhow. Since there is nothing stated in the rules about it, it must be assumed that is therefore completely legal. To get ahead, one must think ahead.

Congrats, Brinson, you are now the ARLA equivalent of Chad Knaus.

Last I checked, I created Kivett and you never approached me for permission to use the name in a storyline with your own characters.
Your arrogance is not appreciated.

Congrats, Brinson, you are now the ARLA equivalent of Ken Tyrell.
Fixed.
To blantanly cheat is one thing. To innovate within the constraints of what is allowed is a completely different matter. Haters gonna hate. And if I recall, Ken wasn't exactly the most liked man around the F1 paddock either.
EDIT: I tried looking for something about Kivett but couldn't find anything. I just assumed it was therefore up in the works. Yet the fatalistic flaw in the mindset of those who push the boundaries and "think ahead". Knowing that it is indeed your manufacturer now, I can see that I'm in the wrong. However, I think that to prevent furher confusion, there should be some sort of thread to identify the various fictional makes and who to go to regarding permissions. Looking for Kivett, one would find nothing (which is what I did before I posted). And yes, I do know about the rule regarding other member's drivers, before that is thrown into consideration. What is said about the various makes is much less clarified however and who is who to know which member created what make?

Matt Waterson, or as he refers to himself, "Epic Matt", will run Iowa, IRP, Talladega, Buffalo Downs, all 3 Japan races, and Road America

Ryan Gregory to ARLA team
With permission from his VSCC team, Ryan Gregory has decided to enter
ARLA. "With the undetermined status of VSCC, I still intend to run the
new series but decided to enter ARLA as well" Gregory has recieved
backing from Nitro Racing and will enter in the #97 Whiplash Energy Drink Nemoto
He plans to drive in the Mini Indy 500, Houston, Road America, Mosport, New York Autoring, and Albuqurque Speedbowl races
(This is ok, right?)

I don't know if I'm allowed, but could I run a part time for a couple races that aren't filled yet?

I'd like to assume that's a yes, but I'm not really sure that I should assume so. Plus, I haven't really written a storyline yet.

Olenick Looking at ARLA?
With the news of VSCC closing its doors, Joe Olenick announced that he was interested in a part-time ARLA ride.
"We'll see what races are open," Olenick said, "but hopefully we can at least run a couple and see what happens."
Olenick reportedly would have sponsorship from Black Mountain Birch Beer, and would continue to drive for Ingelsby.
Olenick stated he is looking at the races in Mosport, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Motegi and Tokyo

Posted something like this earlier but:
Japanese team to race in ARLA.
It has been announced that Japanese touring car team Izumi Motor Sport is planning to enter the 3 ARLA races in their home country. They will run a Nemoto numbered 259. A spokesperson for the team has said that they are looking at several local drivers.
(this entry depends on approval from the league owner)

Clason Motorsports to ARLA?
Clason Motorsports, the team which fields Archer Harris' entry in TM Lights, is looking to get a part time schedule in the ARLA Elite Series.
"We're trying to expand our horizons, and run a few ARLA races. We'll take what we can get at this point." Tanner Clason, the team's owner stated in a press release.
"Once we know that we can run races and get our basic information sorted out, we'll get the kinks sorted out with sponsorship and such."
The team would most likely run a #79 Inglesby, as they did in their 2011 efforts with Cameron Sweetwater under the Random Motorsports banner. A driver is not yet signed for the team, but Clason is looking hard for talent. The team will most likely run the Japanese tour, and perhaps a race or two in the US depending on availability.
(This is all pending approval, of course.)

Tunzi Mokanoe, a 43-year old Japanese racer from Tokyo, plans to enter his Nemoto in the three ARLA races that will take place in Japan this year. Mokanoe has 12 years of experience driving Grand Touring cars in an Asian Touring Series.
"At this point, we have very little plan but we have purchased an ARLA car and pending ARLA approval, we hope to be doing the Japanese Tour in ARLA."

Mokanoe has said although very little is planned at the moment, he is going to go the untraditional route and race an Inglesby Flashback instead of the anticipated Nemoto.

New sponsor for Jared Warth?
Rumors are that a new soda company is stated to be sponsoring Jared Warth in the ARLA elite series, Details are sparse but there should be a statement regarding this within the next week.

Kanji Adachi is making plans to run the 3 ARLA races that will be in Japan later this season. He has been a dominant force Japanese Touring Cars in the past 2 years, finishing 2nd in 2010 and winning the title in 2011.
He plans to run the 3 races with the number 75 on his door, and the Nemoto Celerox as his chassis and manufacturer. He has yet to confirm his sponsor though, but he will have confirmed it within the next month or two.

Webster Looking for 2012 Races, Exploring Options
After funds fell through and Webster was unable to run races at the beginning of the 2012 season, Webster has now saved up funds and looks to run some races at the end of the 2012 season.
"Even if Rockford is all we're going to have. We will gladly accept it. We will certainly look to be in other races through the end of 2012, but we know that it's in CeeJ's hands. We will respect and go by whatever decision is made, even if it is only Rockford."
Webster is planning on running the number 95 DOITZACK.com Saar at least for Rockford.

Prestige Motorsports to Run Limited 2012 Schedule
Coming off the announcement of their Rockford and 2013 plans over the past month, Prestige Motorsports made a brief announcement that they have secured funding to run a limited schedule for the final three regular races of the 2012 season. Richard Scott will drive the #027 America's Nuts Inglesby at Memphis and Orange County; he will be joined at Orange County by Aaron Singer in the #111 Singer Hotels and Casinos car, which is also entered at the New York Autoring, taking the entry spot of the suspended Barney Ward. Both cars will still enter the Rockford 200 as originally planned.
