Ashley Tucker no longer free agent; signed with Riggs Motorsports
Ashley Tucker has signed a contract to drive the #57 Saar for Riggs Motorsports. Ashley Tucker, who made her debut in this years 150 Laps of Dwyer, will also be contending for rookie of the year next season, seeing as she will not make any more than 7 starts this season.
"When my agent told me Riggs wanted me to drive the 57, it was exciting news. I am happy that Jaguar gave me the opportunity to run for them this season, and I appreciate all they've done for me. When I entered the 150 Laps of Dwyer with my brother Thomas, I wasn't even expecting us to make the race. But when we did, and when we even led a few laps, I knew it was only going to get better from there, and it has!"
When asked about her brothers plans, she stated "Me and him are planning to travel to Europe on any off weeks we have, and enter him in the Dash Cup races that allow one-off drivers." but that was all that was mentioned on his future.
(OOC; This was already confirmed and on the team chart, but I wanted to put my side of the story onto it )

Jahgee abandons the sinking ship
Jacob Gregory after learning of Brinson's rejection called Brinson and officially backed out of his 3 year contract. One of our spies managed to hear some of the conversation.
This breakup obviously was not taken well.

Summers to re-sign with Grease Burger
Summers arrived early at Decatur with his left hand in a sling after his crash at Appleton.Although the injury rules him out for the race,Summers had something else to say.
"I am just about to sign on with Grease Burger Racing for another year.I still don't know the full details yet about the contract, but yesterday they called me up and said that they wanted me to race for them for another season and here I am!",said the 30 year old.
As for his injury,he will be able to return for Rockford.

Lol, I pretty much quit pursuing an ISRA entry simply because of the way you have conducted yourself on the forums and the sheer lack of common sense that you've put on display. I'm not going to continue to play along with your idiotic circus but feel free to drag someone else into it. I know you're acting in character here but in other areas of the forum, you've made yourself look like a complete fool
I don't believe Cynon nor many of the other league admins would wish to put up with the same behavior either. I would work on acting like less of a moron before thinking about entering the TM Master Cup. Just sayin'.

Good Lord people what is wrong with you guys? gwoodard41, not long ago they were trying to tell you what you should and shouldn't paint-- now you jump in on this?! Somewhat disappointed...
Yes, I admit that this character speaks in an annoying manner, but so what?! Just skip his posts then. As long as he abides by the foul language rules-- which I feel he's gotten pretty close to the line-- but what's the big deal?

ZMT Racing announces driver, sponsor, manufacturer, partnership.
At the beginning of the week, ZMT Racing didn't have a clue of what would happen to the 89 car for next year. Chuck Bloomers was expected to make a move to a management role at his family's team. The sponsor they had dropped following Bloomers departure. Cromwell wasn't returning to ARLA next year. It appeared grim for the team. Then, team owner Zach Townsend read about a new free agent.
"Well, I was busy looking for a driver for next year, and heard all this stuff about Leon Keniston. I heard he had been fired, that he had bought White Mountain Motorsports, that he had tried to get them a third team, and that since he couldn't, he was a free agent. So we contacted him."
Townsend's decision to contact Keniston would start a chain reaction that would turn into a deal between ZMT Racing and Keniston's team, LK Racing. Keniston will run the 89 next year, with sponsorship from Pizza Barn, who will sponsor Keniston's 31 and 313 driven by Ricky Flush and CJ Cameron respectively for the 2012 season. The team also plans to paint all three cars the same, and are expected to run the same manufacturer, which according to Townsend, will be the Karl, Inc. Revolution. No news has come out of the Keniston camp confirming this, but news is expected shortly.
*Side Note: Does anyone else see the irony in this? If not, watch the first race of this season in ARLA.

Lester interested in 171 seat, working with Lake, Carroll and Wodarczyk
Casey Lester: I looked at the updated chart today and saw a Gravity Racing Inc. slot open for next year. I thought, "Hey, wouldn't it be cool to work with Shane [Lake] again next year with Packer [Carroll] and Todd [Wodarczyk] and their Volpis?" so I've been thinking of contacting Mr. Carroll about driving the car for 2011. Now, I certainly know that there's other drivers out there who could get this ride as well, so there's no laying down from here on out. I gotta earn this. I've worked with Shane a couple of years ago and I'm pretty sure we'll be fine here in the AES. I know Cyril [Volpi] would be breathing down all his drivers' necks to perform, so I'd have to bring my A-game to drive the 171. As I said, though, I've worked with Shane, so I'm pretty sure we can relate; I just don't know so much about Carroll and Wodarczyk, but they're both very respected, so I'd think I'd get along with them just fine.
EDIT: Forgot that Jackson was on the team and that GRI isn't running Volpi next year. *insert facepalm here*

Griffin still hoping for full-time ride offer; Will run TM Lights as backup
Free Agent Ryan Griffin will be running his last ARLA Elite Series race at Rockford this weekend (OCC: not sure when the race stuff is going up, so I'm posting it like this) unless he can find a way to run in the series.
However, Griffin will not be leaving the GLM team. He will instead be running another series. At least at this time, part time. He has although expressed his desire to stay in the Elite Series, but that may not be possible.

I recommend looking at Grease Burger, Kiivett or Patterson Autosport, personally.

Nick Azure looking for 2012 ride elsewhere?
With FAC Motorsports being denied entry for the 2012 ARLA Elite Series season, owner Frank Azure has reportedly given the OK for his driver and nephew Nick Azure to look for a ride elsewhere. Azure says that in order to further Nick's development as a driver, he would like him to race full time somewhere in 2012. Nick later said "at the moment, I am a free agent for 2012. Any team that needs a driver, I'm available." Nick will be attempting the Rockford 200 in a few weeks. There he hope to impress potential owners by not only qualifying for the race, by running near the front. FAC Motorsports is still looking to run part time in ARLA as well as a TM Lights entry. If they get a part time entry it will probably be run by either Frank Azure himself, or by FAC's CRL drivers, Frank Azzaretto Jr. and Allison Wilson.

PACKER STILL LOOKING FOR A FEMALE DRIVER FOR THE 171, MAY SIGN CASEY LESTER TO TM LIGHTS RIDE
With Decatur fast approaching, GRI team owner Packer Carroll is still searching for drivers to fill his TM Lights cars and the #171 ARLA team. Several drivers have expressed interest in the ARLA ride, but Packer has made it clear that he wants a female driver on his ARLA roster next season. According to several reports, he may be interested in signing Rachel Rainsford to the #171 team. Rainsford has not yet been resigned by Motor Assault Racing, and Packer has expressed interest in signing her to drive the #171 Kivett in 2012. He is currently in talks with Motor Assault Racing to see if he is allowed to speak with her about a possible contract offer with GRI.
As for his TM Lights teams, Packer has been talking with Casey Lester about a possible ride in the TM Lights Series for 2012, which could have Lester driving the #71 NOS Energy Volpi.
More information will be available once it comes to light. Stay tuned...

Lester delighted to hear offer from Carroll, discusses current scenario
Casey Lester: Aw, dude! Thanks so much! I know it ain't official yet, but I'm just happy that you've [Packer] actually considered me to drive after I've done jack sh*t so far in the VSCC. Me and Shane have to get together for a chat about the VSCC team we have and what's gonna happen to it after this year. Maybe that guy from the National Dirt Trucks, Mark or Mike Richards, I don't remember for sure, could fill in over there. I plan to enter a one-off for Rockford, but I just haven't signed a deal yet if it's not too late. I know Blake "Block" Camphausen should have an opening for me somewhere on his squad, so I might turn to him for that one race.

Hectic Racing confirms 2012 plans
Hectic Racing owner Hector Hogan confirmed at a press conference that the team will be coming to ARLA and VSCC for the 2012 season, and will not be returning to the TM Lights.
Hogan said that in ARLA, the team will try to use the #5 as it's full time, with Gordon Kim as the driver, and with Canyon Oil sponsorship. They will also try to use the #05 as it's part time car.

@Casey - You know that this offer I'm giving you is not for ARLA, because I want a lady driver in the 171 car next year, but it is for the TM Lights #71 car, right?

gwoodard41 wrote:Patriot Racing and Barry Spengler will part ways in 2012, Ryon Reffett or Greg Woodard may take his place
Barry 'Egon' Spengler has decided to part with the team after the 2011 season, he remarked that his performance with the team has been put into question by the leadership, and he complained about being the butt monkey of jokes around the team tent during races. Kelly Splison of course was upset by the loss of her long time teammate and 'special' friend.
"It's sad to see him go, I personally like the team, but we all have to move on... and now I can beat him up on the racetrack if we go against one another next year." Splison, who drives the 222 Lycoia Brute, will most likely move to the number 42 next year, the sponsorship of the team is to be decided.
If Reffett gets in, he'll use the number 61 of course, if Woodard is selected as the replacement driver, he'll go with the 41.
Barry Spengler, who prefers the Saar Chassis, may be talking with team owners who have the Saar Chassis as their primary choice.
"I'll go with a part time position if that's available, I just can't perform the way I want when the car I drive holds me back, not to mention that our team can't seem to get within the top 10 when it comes to finishes, I wish them the best, but I cannot be part of a failing organization in this series."
Woodard, who wants to continue racing in the TM level series, told reporters that he's willing to step down a notch and race in ARLA, given that he isn't able to get a Independent Trophy ride or fails to get a full time ride in the TM Lights next season.
The team has decided to run with the Tonare Chassis, as the approval for the Lycoia Comanche fell through with ARLA officials.
Barry Spengler will quit after 2012, stating personal reasons
After lengthy talks with Spengler and his legal advisor, the two parties of TIM and Barry Spengler decided it was best for him to leave the team, even after the top 10 he received at Appleton. He stated that he had enough of the immaturity of other drivers and how he is treated by other teammates.
Ryon Reffett, Greg Woodard's step brother, and Greg himself will most likely run a part time schedule with Kelly Splison, their numbers would most likely be
41 (Woodard)
42 (Splison)
61 (Reffett)
The team has agreed to run the Tonare Chassis, the sponsors are rumored to be Trollbusters, Canuck Maple Ale, and Flyin' Lion Travel Centers

Keniston full time in ARLA in 2012
Former TMMC driver Leon Kensiton who recently aquired White Mountain Motorsports will find himself in ARLA for the 2012 season. Keniston originally wanted to expand WMM/LKRacin to a 3 car team but the petition came to late for ARLA to grant Keniston a 3rd team on the grid. Keniston will now driver the #89 For Owner Zach Townsend and full backing from Pizza Barn who will also sponsor the #31 and #313 LKR cars. Keniston also announced the partner ship this morning after weeks of behind the scenes negotiations to make this a done deal Karl Inc Revolution will be the manufacturer for LKR and ZMT racing for the 2012 season and beyond.
"i just really want to thank Zach Townsend for this chance. We really got into a pinch late in the year being released from my TMMC deal. this was all very difficult to put together and Townsend came threw big for us with the clock running out for 2012."
"also need to thank Merdian for such a great run this season. they put forth a huge effort to make the WMM team what it is today. Its unfortunate that they were not granted an entry in ARLA for next year but we will move forward with the Karl Inc Revolution.

Graham to ARLA full time in 2012
For two years Jessica Graham was sparingly driving in the Elite Series. Now she's gotten the call to run full time in 2012 with S-Tech Autosport. While sponsorship is still in question, it is clear that she will be the next driver in that teams stable to hope to move up.
"It's really incredible that I'm getting this chance, for a couple years I was mostly doing races sparingly, then I got called to the VSCC and now I just can't believe I'm going full time in ARLA."

Lawrence Burr to Grease Burger?
The latest rumor floating around is that ARLA Thunder Trucks driver Lawrence Burr may be headed to Grease Burger Racing to pilot the #9 car.
There has been nothing confirmed about the plans of Jared Andersen, who currently drives the #9, but it is believed that he has expressed interest in competing in the ASCC.
Burr, 24, is the son of Team Burr owner John Burr. The elder Burr reportedly offered his son a ride with the team, but Lawrence hastily turned it down.

The team chart has been updated. A couple of teams are getting booted and new ones will take their places. At least one more team might get booted if I can't get in contact with its owner (who is not on EFR) soon.
