Normally wouldn't revive a thread this old but it seems quite relevant today.

Storm season has begun with a vengeance. Huge tornado and severe weather outbreak across the south. The weather channel's TOR:CON index is guaranteeing a tornado within 50 miles of any point in northern Kentucky...

There were fourteen tornado warnings between Tennessee and southern Ohio at one point.

There were thunderstorms in the northwestern area of Ohio yesterday. This is my first post on my laptop since lightning hit our school and knocked our cable out yesterday. The other post I made was from my phone last night. I heard a majority of the area I'm in lost power but other than that, everyone's okay.

The same system made its way across south-western Pennsylvania from about 3 to 10 yesterday. I walked to a friends house during a break that lasted about half an hour, got rained on for only about 10 minutes. There was some insane lightning we saw, looked as bright as it would have if it was right outside, but it was actually about 45 minutes away, near the PA-OH border.

That lightning I was talking about thundered so loud I literally jumped out of my seat. It thundered yesterday morning and again in the early afternoon. I noticed it was hailing but it was light hail though. I hope tornado won't be the same way as it was last year.

Been the 60's all day, really cloudy. Believe Thursday we hit 81 degrees, lol. Our winter in a nutshell although I've heard we may see a flake of snow tonight

The past few days, the temps have really fluctuated. For example, Two days before the big system hit, it was 60's here. The next day it was 30's. The day of the system, it was 60's again. Then yesterday, it was back down in the 40's. Warm winter, though.

WOOHOO! It's a cold one this morning! Everyone stormed FB because there was a "chance" of snow but in all reality it's off to the west of us. Patterson might be getting a flake in Fredricksburg. We used up our snow quota on X-mas day last year when we were dumped snow on, lol. Been a very mild winter for us in Hampton Roads this year.

Another chilly start to the day here in Norfolk but it's been gradually getting warmer, 36 degrees now frm when I woke up to 32. All sunshine and aside from a stray cloud scheduled to move in around noon, it's looking to be a beautiful day with a high around 65. All week, we're going remain in the 60's and though it's supposed to dip to 50 again ths weekend, Monday is forecasted to be a sunny 70 degree day.

Spring, here we come

Tornadoes have touched down in Michigan in March. Not sure how many, but it has been confirmed that there has been touch downs.

Yes, I live in the sterotypical perfect little community where nothing goes wrong. However, I will always say Sandusky is my home even though I only live there in the summer months.

Compared to last week, this week has been really cold, like 30 degrees colder, from 80 degrees down to 50. I think it's official that no one can figure out what's going on with the weather.

Didn't get a chance to post about Michigan's sweltering heat a couple weeks back. Traverse City hit 91 degrees, a little more than 50 degrees above average for this time of year. Detroit and Saginaw each broke their high temperature records for April and nearly May

Also I don't live in Hawaii obviously but I thought I'd share this. The island of Oahu broke hailstone records when a supercell dropped a couple tornadoes and hail the size of grapefruits a couple weeks ago. Here's a picture of the remains of just one that fell

Lol I forgot to mention those as well. One of those skipped right over us and hit Coleman just to our northeast and caused some minor damage. Tomorrow we're expecting snow with a high of 36 Fail
