I do miss though where most anywhere, just so some laps can be done by a driver, the team just shears as much metal as they could off the car to the point of looking like what we post, instead of grabbing spare bits left and right

A different sponsor wouldn't do that car justice. Zebra stripes on a Cup car are just plain ugly.

So looking on this page, I understand the 79 being here (especially since its a Nationwide car for crying out loud), but why the wrecked cars? We're not seriously expecting cars that damaged to look right-off-the-trailer good, are we?

It was more for the tape jobs for the numbers and such. Yeah, it's not going to look good, but it was more for the giggles if anything

Re: NASCAR Hall of Shame
Those cars are all bad in their own way, but that last car takes the cake. It's one thing to take a car, cover up its numbers and then put new tape numbers on top, but putting tape numbers on a car over the top of the old numbers without covering up the old numbers is even worse. They didn't even bother putting the new number on the roof of the car. Seriously, how terrible can you get?

That''ll probably be one of the best schemes of the year, at least out of the back-marker teams.Pyrozooka0 wrote:Regan Smith is now officially the unluckiest driver in NASCAR: He has to drive this thing

I agree with the people above, I quite like that scheme. Almost every paint scheme we've seen for 2016 has looked so basic and bland, so to have a paint scheme that's got something interesting going on is quite satisfying.
Moment of silence for any ingenuity paint schemes have had before this season. R.I.P.

Re: NASCAR Hall of Shame
Now for something that actually IS Hall of Shame worthy.
This was from either 2008 or 2009 from the looks of it; obviously this car never ran. Say what you will about the paint scheme, but that's not what I'm trying to draw attention to. Just look at the nameplate. And also the bad Photoshop of AJ.
