Re: The Wrestling Thread
Those finishes at WrestleMania honestly felt like Vince giving a giant middle finger to the fans.
Then again, Vince is nothing but a senile old bastard anyways, so it's really no surprise.

Re: The Wrestling Thread
Apollo Crews, Baron Corbin, Enzo, and Cass all debuting today, and Vaudevillians debuting on Smackdown is pretty good. Surprised with Apollo and Baron coming up early, especially considering Apollo has only been signed for around a year.
I'm also kind of glad Bayley didn't debut for a few reasons. It's too early to kick Sasha and Becky back out of the limelight, and Asuka and Bayley can hopefully have a great program that culminates in Brooklyn, which is where Bayley should debut.

Mania stuff started at 2 in west coast time and didn't end till like close to 9, I mean sheesh.
At least it ended at a reasonable time for the west coast. It was damn near a midnight finish for those of us out east.

I live on West Coast and I STILL say that went on too long, I'm used to PPVs ending around 8 regardless of it being Wrestlemania or something like Battleground. I guess it didn't help that some of the stuff began at 2 pacific/5 eastern which just astounded me even more.

it ended 1AM on my end, but being Wrestlemania I expected it to be that long, so it really didn't worn me out as much as I thought it would.

Yeah, he also hurt his back earlier this year, so he can take some time to heal that as well.

Titus was suspended because tried to play games during a actually sad moment, in which Vince was actually incredibly sad as well, if you watch WWE 24. Also, this has not been the first occurence Titus acted like this in a serious case.
This is also not the first occurence Konnor and Adam Rose failed the wellness policy, hence why the 60 day suspension.

Not worth a 60 day suspension, though. Vince was just being senile in that case.

Well that's how WWE plays by: 1st strike Warning or 30 day suspension; 2nd strike 60 day suspension; 3rd strike you're out.

The Wellness Policy, I understand.
Titus' case, it's stupid shit. If this is the kind of shit that happens just for playing around, if I was in Titus' shoes, I'd have asked for my release from the company.

Never saw Chyna wrestle, but anybody who is a legend to the industry is a legend to me.
The only time I did see her however was when she was on Whose line 10-15 years ago.
On a more positive note, Kofi has been pulled from the Europe tour due to the impending birth of his second child.
Finally, Bray's injury is a pulled muscle and will be back in 4-6 weeks.

With Sandow, there had to be some kind of backstage issue that no one has chirped up about yet. You don't simply bury a guy who is over without reason (and I've said that about Zach Ryder for years now too). Sandow must have done something that rankled some WWE brass the wrong way.

So WWE will have a live show in Hawaii later on this year and it seems like it's going to be mostly NXT vs Main roster.
We have Brock vs Kevin Owens, Asuka vs Charlotte, and Cena vs Nakamura so far on the card.
This has to be a Network Special, there is no way we're missing something like this.

This will probably lead to his release.

I've heard that he actually left on good terms and the only reason why he got released is so he can reinvent himself. Considering his appearances on TV as of late were few and far between it makes sense.PYLrulz wrote:With Sandow, there had to be some kind of backstage issue that no one has chirped up about yet. WWE Australia teased a massive reveal last night, only to reveal that John Cena's coming here, which was expected anyway since he pulled out of last year's tour late.
And it's apparently $350 a ticket, that's not even the front row.
Yeah, nah. Don't care.
