The "Where did he go?" thread
I've been following TMMC since 2008 at Milan and I've noticed quite a few drivers come and go. This is a thread for any drivers from TMMC, ARLA, TMJS, RROL or any other canon league that you're not sure where they went, even when you felt like they were in the series yesterday.
Dalton Johnson - His 2008 car didn't seem so bad, but I don't know where he went off to. For some reason, I think he's Rutana's driver.
Rodney Frye-Carter - I think he was a character of some user who doesn't come on here anymore, so there's an easy reason. Same goes for Leon Keniston and all of his drivers.
Ryan Hearne - I think this is Cooper's driver, but I'm not sure if he retired or not.
Jon Broughton - He wasn't so bad, even when he seemed to be a midfielder at times. I think Joel Rodriguez's #86 had Broughton's #75 number font at one point.
I'll add more as I think of them.

Dalton Johnson was Rutana's, and it always failed to qualify for every race he attempted.

Last time I saw Jon he was over at the Outlaw Paint Shop site, but I think it has since shut down.

Re: The "Where did he go?" thread
Kathy Clemons - Loose cannon, if I read correct on TMPedia. Once the RapidTech team closed down, I haven't seen anything from either her or Tom Wetmore.
James Lombardi - Almost won the '07 title with Kingston. Then he vanished...
Jerry Luther - I saw in one of the threads on the old forum that the real life Jerry was a member who got cancer or very sick or something and stopped coming on here. If he's still with us, I wish him the best with his battle.
Craig Cross - I have a feeling he was a former user's driver as well. If he wasn't, then it's a shame because he looked strong in a few races, but he was in the back most of the time.
Austin Magnussen - I really liked this guy for some reason and I thought he was going to end up with a large team like JCR or National, but he ended up being Ocean STS' third driver, then falling off the earth.
Tom Levin - Lost his ride after '08 or '09 and Kingston didn't really change without him.
Leroy Brittain - I heard somewhere that his team got banned. I'm guessing his user wasn't complying to the rules...

Re: The "Where did he go?" thread
Hearne - Not my driver. Was entered by someone else who vanished from the forum after 2007 and ... that was that. I've heard the name crop up in iRacing circles though, so I'd imagine it was the same person.
Clemons and Wetmore - The RapidTec team vanished after that user vanished. Despite the awesome team name and decent paintjobs these cars never had any results.
Lombardi - Entered by my real life friend Ryan. Named after James McCloud and Falco Lombardi. Lombardi poofed from the canon because Ryan is a much bigger Zelda fan than a Starfox fan.
Magnussen - Entered by another internet friend. Named after his then-roommate.
Levin - Entry for a guy I know in real life that I haven't talked to in years. Needless to say he had very strong personal connections in Ireland.
Cross - One of Johnnie Ada's drivers. Former admin. He does iRacing paintschemes these days.
Luther - Whopperboy59's entry. Former admin of the forum. He did actually pop up on the forum awhile back.
Brittain - Another one of the N1 contingent that I lent out to Hetzel (Brittain was in N1 because they couldn't get the rights to Morgan Shepherd's name). The team and Brittain poofed after Hetzel got banned.
Jonathan Flournoy - Another guy who entered a driver named after himself that vanished from the forum. I saw him at an NR2003 league I ran in as a one-off (I think it was when I just got my wheel and wanted more time to get used to it), and I recall seeing him in practice but I think he didn't take the start for some reason.

I should have guessed Lombardi was a StarFox reference. I mean, Zelda Ashby isn't an obviousreference to anything at all...
Pyo Konoroz(?) - Attempted (and failed) to make Russia in '08 for Cesnik.
Stan Rosenstreter - Didn't do so bad in the series. I think he's running TM Lights now, but I can't remember.
Connor Maloney - Saw his scheme in the 2008 promo video that Lewis made, but I only recall seeing Mosco in the Karjala Junior Race video.
Dillon Mosco - See Maloney.
Kyle Schmulewitz - Replaced Brooks in the #12 at Spa in '09, ran for Team Saar USA in TM Lights in 2010 or 2011 and haven't seen him again.
Chris Branham - I remember he ran the Whittaker #80 in the 2009 Daytona Qualifying Race #1. (You also said Kurt Walker was a rookie in that race, even when I'm pretty sure he ran the full 2008 season...)
Pretty much half of the drivers from TM Cup in 2006 - Let's name some: Wesley Ellis, Todd Bell, Scott Head, Matt "Bad Luck" Shinoski, Mario Marquez, Jake Natali(?), etc...

I knew these two (they used their IRL names for their drivers) from another forum i used to admin at. Maloney fell of the face of the earth after like 2009 and Mosco and i talk to every so often on Facebook.Casey Lester wrote:

These could be wrong, so someone correct me if they are.
Wesley Ellis - I think he belonged to Justin Brooks, who no longer comes around EFR.
Todd Bell - Pretty sure Cooper had him retire from racing.
Mario Marquez - Belonged to the same guy Ashby and Lombardi belong to. Never moved him to Master Cup.
I think Rosenstretter still hovers around here and there.

Read on TMPedia that Stanton had personal issues with the #45 team in 2009 and left racing for some other occupation. I think Rosseau has a managerial position at the Lynxe team nowadays and Rand was an RROL driver for a little while.

Todd Stanton -- Money league shenanigans took him out of the series.
Paul Gartley -- Didn't think anyone cared about him.
James Rand -- Ditto.
Esmé Rousseau -- Ditto.
Austin Howard -- Ditto.
Andrew Craig Racing - Was this a reference to the CART exec? -- No, not on purpose, even though I grew up with him as the CART CEO and thus would have heard the name on TV broadcasts. The team died once I started actually paying attention to CART political figures from the time when I was too young to notice them. You can call it my way of saying; "Uh, oops".

Where did "Patrick HENDERSON!" go?!
Just realized that Reid "Silver" Bullet was able to use #11 this year and got to wondering where "Patrick HENDERSON!" went?
And although I thought it was pretty awesome/funny, I don't think I ever understood why Patrick Henderson was pronounced as "Patrick HENDERSON!"

Actually he lost his team about a month before I did. We had had a team up planned, but I lost my spot because of a suspension of disbelief character and my own personal actions. I don't really know why Leon lost his though.

Morgan Hamburg did the Independent's Trophy in 2012 with TDR.
Milano Rossini is the same person as Alessandro Rossini who's in Master Cup full time next year.
Damien Snyder raced in Decatur in 2012.
CJ Cameron and Ricky Flush's owners got banned IIRC.
Mumba Kumangu died after hect came back just to kill him off then leave again.
Amy Patti was taken out of canon by Tom for some reason.
Bruce Wilkinson failed a drug test after some personal issues between the characters owners and some league owners, so he was shafted out of canon.
