Yeah, you could tell Danielle's setups were scripted.
Anyway, Hamlin will be out for six weeks, according to breaking reports.

I'm amazed that it's been 2 days since this race took place and people on here are STILL talking about it. I can't deny the fact though that what we saw was something that we fans will never forget. One thing's for sure is that Martinsville is going to be insane.

Six? That seems low, to be honest. But, hey, what do I know? I've broken plenty of bones but my vertebrae isn't one of them.

I found footage of the wreck you were talking about.
The thing about seeing a car roll over in a race at Bristol or Martinsville is that it only happens once in a blue moon. Anything could happen, and, if I might echo Lucstar here, stranger things have happened.

It wasn't on purpose, but it was extremely bone-headed and very much preventable. Joey was driving like a maniac and because of his dangerous actions, a man was sent to the hospital and will now miss at least five weeks of racing due to his injuries. Logano didn't intend to hurt Hamlin, but some punishment is definitely in order.

^This. I really don't see what he did was wrong. Also, if you watch the replay, Hamlin turned down in to Logano then spun down into the inside wall...by himself, with no help from Logano...

Logano was racing him hard up until the third turn, and then he just decided "screw the win, it's demo derby time!". It was no longer about making sure he won, but making sure Hamlin lost.
Also, Logano went up the track and crowded Hamlin, which pushed both cars up the track, which got Denny lose and caused him to spin into the 22.

You make it seem as Logano was the only one racing hard. Hamlin was too. You guys wouldn't be pushing nearly as hard for a suspension of Denny wasn't injured which he is because NASCAR was too dumb to implement SAFER barriers at that part of the track.

There's a line between racing hard and racing recklessly; Logano crossed it when he came into turn three.

I think something almost everyone here may have missed is that Tony Stewart went from 3rd to 20th in less then ten laps. I think Logano's blocking may have actually damaged tony cars car somewhat.
Why did Joey feel the need to block with 10 laps left in the first place?

No damage, cause everyone had fresher tires... Jr went from 20th to 2nd

Restate when i said from after the race, Wreck was a racing deal, Logano got loose/tight into the corner got into Hamlin, Hamlin hit Logano trying to save the car/keep it off the way and just lost it.

Here's where I'm confused. Tony doesn't like people blocking him, but he can block though, so it's justified that he is the only one that can block?

Yes, it's called a race, you make sure you're competitors are behind you... Besides blocking @ Dega with 25 cars around you is totally ok.. That block @ Talladega was more dangerous than here..

No, I got it, I just can't resist an opportunity to bash Apple. Especially the iMac.
Also, as for Hamlin seemingly turning down into Logano, my take of it was that the initial contact between them loosened Hamlin up, and couldn't straighten the car up.

The only bad part about this race, is Nascar will consider it a smashing succsess, and have less of a reason to drop it from the schedule. (Not that there was a real reason anyway)

I don't see why you think they'd drop the track from the schedule, yes most of the race wasn't particularly exciting but the finish did make up for it.

That's exactly what he's saying. He's saying they won't drop it which is what most NASCAR fans would like because Auto Club Speedway is typically the most boring race on the schedule (aside from last weekend), IMO worse than Pocono...
Re: Auto Club 400 - Sprint Cup
I really don't mind if California stays on the schedule, didn't there used to be 2 x 500 mile races before?
