Re: 2013 ARLA Tornado Alley Truck Series (Rockford 100 Posted!)
- Spoiler:
- Tammy Barnton wins the ARLA Tornado Alley Truck Series Championship
It was an eventful race for Tammy Barnton as she had to work her way up through the field after a bad starting position, however, Tammy Barnton pulled off an impressive season of straight top 10's and as a result, she took home the championship in her rookie season.
Barnton had luck on her side, as well as being fast all night, as Zach Gott, her main championship rival, ran into trouble early on after a collision with Dylan Andrew, but Gott himself rebounded to finish in the top 5, but Barnton still finished close enough to Gott, even after Barnton had a late race spin herself, after contact with Samantha Spires.
Tammy Barnton will do what her cousin, Lucy, did and move onto the FARC Elite Series for 2014, as she has struck a deal with HQS Racing, and has agreed to drive the #83 Bitter Pills Lenard, where she is hoping to be just as successful as she was this year.
"I thought I lost it all when I spun" said a tearful, but happy Tammy Barnton, "but the truck was so fast tonight. Not just tonight, the whole season. It's overwhelming. After last year, this family and this team have all deserved this. Lucy told me how crushing it was to lose it by one point last season, but I hope I did her proud this year."

- Spoiler:
- Kcobb74: "It'd be wrong to say we didn't have a great rookie season, I mean with getting our first win and several solid finishes we did pretty well, especially after our abysmal start in the first 6 or so races. Even though we don't know exactly what our plans will be for 2014 our first Elite Series race is coming up, and with sponsorship to follow we might end up with a pretty good ride in a bigger series next year. We don't exactly know but what I do know is that I enjoyed this 2013 season and would like to congratulate Tammy Barnton on her championship."

Re: 2013 ARLA Tornado Alley Truck Series (Rockford 100 Posted!)
- Spoiler:
- Patrick Johannson: What a season. This crew knows what they are doing, let me tell you all now. I know that the attrition rate was high today, but we held on and got a Top 10 in the biggest race of the year. For a startup team, Alex [Middleton, the team owner] did a good job managing it. Wherever 2014 takes me, I know I can keep my head held high after a great season not just for me, but a team that started from nothin'. I sincerely thank Red Wing Racing and all the work they did in givin' me a great truck for all the races we ran this season. Also, Congratulations to Tammy on her championship. I feel for Zach, since he came all the way back from gettin' wrecked to having a fairly good shot at winning it, but he's got a great bunch behind him that'll stick to him. Both of those drivers are gonna go far in FARC; I guarantee you.

Re: 2013 ARLA Tornado Alley Truck Series (Rockford 100 Posted!)
- Spoiler:
- Vincenzo Fochesato, Post-Rockford 100
Focus Autosports driver Vincenzo Fochesato came into the Rockford 100, the final race of the ARLA Tornado Alley Truck Series before the upcoming merger between ARLA and FARCE, confident that he could fight for the win, despite starting back in the 10th row of the grid.
How race day turned out for him can be summed up by the fact that his interview was conducted after he returned from a trip to the hauler. After said trip, Fochesato had this to say; "I need to apologize to Kendrick Davis, that incident was entirely my fault. My spotter told me to 'watch for traffic', but I thought that he'd said "watch for Travis". I sort of zoned out trying to figure out who Travis was, and I ended up driving into the #00. We got our 15 points cancelled out by my penalty, but again, it was entirely deserved. At least we finished with a relatively clean truck. I've been told we haven't figured out what happened to Aubrey [Wood's] truck yet, but we're suspecting it had to do with her incident with [Barry] Spengler. Whatever it was, it's a shame that she hasn't been able to show ARLA what she can do, yet."
Fochesato completes his rookie season as the 3rd-highest rookie in the final points standings, with a 7th place points result. Heading into 2014, he plans to return to full-time competition in the soon-to-be-named FARC LoBo Truck Tour, as well as participate in a handful of FARC Elite Series events.
"Again, all I do is drive the truck. Everyone else who supports me is the reason I can have so much fun doing it! We're going to get our Elite Series Lenard ready for the 200 now, and I hope to return to FARC next year!"
Fochesato then ran off to the #00 truck's pit box to try to find Kendrick Davis.

Megan Driver to return with Terra Int'l Motorsport's FARC Division.
It seems, regardless of how the end of her season ended, that Megan Driver has been tapped to return to the series in 2014. Accelerator Motorsports, which is taking over the FARC operations for Terra Int'l Motorsports, plans to have Driver and Logan Adams, a driver from Quincy, IL, to take on a 2nd seat either full time or part time.
McGees plans to stay on with Driver and Logan Adams would have NOVA Satellite Radio coming in to sponsor him. The two are planned to use the numbers 41 and 96 but that is subject to change based on a variety of factors. The biggest thing right now though is getting the team signed up and hopefully accepted for next year.
Lycoia slated to return next season after near dominance of 2013.
Lycoia is planning to return to the series after the performance teams had with the Rebel Chassis in 2013. It plans to stay with Accelerator Motorsports and will be leaving the door open for current teams and possibly new teams.

Spannerhead Racing looking for full-time entry.
Rumours circulating that Spannerhead Racing may enter a truck next year for either of their team drivers, Dylan Andrew, who has raced twice in the series, or Magenta Nelson-Andrew, who has a start in the Dash Cup. Despite the stupid move that had championship implications involved, Spannerhead Racing still has high hopes on Dylan Andrew, and hopes a full season in a series, instead of one-off racing, and make him improve and mature.

Smith-Thompson looks to move to Truck Tour, will form new team:
Billy Ray Smith-Thompson is ready for his next challenge.
He's looking to move from the National Racing Championship, where he has spent the last two seasons, to the newly rechristened FARC LoBo Truck tour.
"I've had a good two years in NRC, and I'm just rarin' for somethin' new," Smith-Thompson said. "Plus Bossman said he'd help me a little in gettin' started, so that's somethin'."
Smith-Thompson didn't elaborate on any other information, but said he had deals in the works.
"Sponsors have seen my NRC success, so they know what they're getting," he said. "I hope I'll have somethin' to tell y'all soon. Glad you got to talk to me."
