- MRD Motorsports Encounters Late Race Frustration at Piqua, Frustrations Continue to Intensify
Despite being near the front early on in the Round of Piqua, John Jefferson fell a lap down late in the race and pretty much stayed at the tail end as he remains without a top 10 to his name.
"I don't know what else I can do at this point" Jefferson said after the race. "Everyone's working hard trying to give me the best possible car and no matter what we do, nothing's going right. I'm all out of ideas" Jefferson lamented.
Team owner Tom Delgado was none too pleased either. Speaking on Skype with reporters later that evening, Delgado expressed his disappointment with his entire TM Lights operation. "The performances haven't been there. Something has to give when you're simply not getting the job done, no matter how hard you're working" Delgado said.

- Harris FURIOUS with Jim Hayes[/b]
"I don't know what Jim Hayes thinks he's doing, but he certainly didn't deserve that win. If the only way you can win is to wreck someone faster than you, then you just don't belong on the track. That was stupid, that didn't need to happen." A blistering Archer Harris said, after getting into a late-race incident with Quan Xing which would end his race.

- Spoiler:
- Davison happy with first top 10
I am very impressed with how today went for me," he said, "it did feel a bit weird being one of the last cars on the lead lap at one point, but thanks to my progress and the amount of cautions, we were able to make up some ground and find ourselves in a good position."

Re: Race 04: TM Lights Round of Piqua
- Spoiler:
- Frustration boils over for Matthews:
Encouraged by a good finish in her ARLA race earlier in the afternoon, Tiffany Matthews felt like this could be the race where she finally breaks through and scores her first points of the season.
Instead, her race, like at Carbondale before it, ended in frustration, as she was one of the innocent victims of the accident on Lap 6. It is the second consecutive race in which she has failed to finish.
"I'm getting really tired of getting caught in other people's messes," she said, after angrily tossing her helmet into the cockpit of her wrecked Bolden. "I'm beyond frustrated at this point. You know how the definition of insanity is doing the same thing expecting a different result? Well, I must be truly insane by now."
She also criticized Alli Culotta, who set off the incident that took her out of the race.
"I think Alli dropped more than the rest of her name in the offseason," she said. "For a supposed veteran of this series to pull a boneheaded move like that makes me wonder who's running things over there at the Lynxe Women's Team. They really need to sit her down and have a nice talk with her about paying attention to the track, because she clearly wasn't when she hit Eric Molina."

- Spoiler:
- Unit 11 impressed with Blackwell's performance.
It looked like Justin Robinson would be Unit 11's top man after Blackwell got turned into the wall. But the dominoes fell in Blackwell's favor. Being able to race his way back on the lead lap then finish the race in the top 10.

Re: Race 04: TM Lights Round of Piqua
- Spoiler:
- (OCC: This is for story line purpose no offense to who has Molina. Figured we can have some fun. ) (Also, my FO story, for those who followed it takes place after this race weekend, that is why my story is what it is.)
Tempers boil over in Piqua; Griffin in post-race scuffle with Molina
Tempers and angry drivers seemed to be the theme following the 4th race of the 2012 TM Lights Series season. But, tempers may have reached a boiling point. On lap 6, Eric Molina slowed in the racing lane and was turned by Alli Culotta. This collected several cars such as the #116 of Tiffany Matthews, the #58 of Afzal Tahmid, and the #18 of Ryan Griffin.
In the garage area after the incident, Griffin upset over the early incident confronted Molina and had to be held back by his team owner, Jim More, and a couple of members of the #18 crew. Early reports indicate that Griffin shoved Molina when he confront him. Griffin was also overheard telling Molina to pull his "G** [expletive] [expletive] head out of his behind" and to "use that empty space inside for something."
Two crew members from the #18 team managed to calm Griffin down and take him back to the team's hauler.
There More addressed a few reporters.
"He's upset. I don't blame him. Eric [Molina] had a problem and instead of pulling to the inside he pulled into the racing lane and got hit. I feel for the cars involved especially Tiffany [Matthews]. Without bad luck, she would have no luck at all."
More also addressed what his team was doing for the open test session for the Hanmore FO event in Texas.
"Well, Ryan [Griffin] is going with our two drivers there tomorrow and hopefully things go better there than here."
More finished by commenting on his other driver, Ike Durbin.
"Ike is doing what I expected him too. It's the reason I asked him to be a part of this. He's had some issues at the start of the season, but he's really showing what he can really do now."

How on earth did I end up 3rd after that. My car was crap for most of the day but I still got a good result.
