- Motoko takes top 15 finish at Portland, sits two points behind Ike Durbin for the points lead.
"It's looking great!" Motoko cheerfully told reporters, "The team gave me a really good car, however, the track was wet from the recent storms." Motoko was asked about the Peoria Incident, "I and the team would like to put that behind us... the boss isn't happy about it, but he told me I could have done worse."

After the race was over, Justin Robinson was seen talking to Buffy Boreanaz about what happened during the race. "I went into the corner and I couldnt stop.The track had no grip", Robinson said.

It's been that kind of year for Tiffany Matthews.
Though through most of the Round of Portland she ran well, including running as high as second at one point. Unfortunately for her, a late incident before the final round of pit stops dampened her day and took her out of the points.
Matthews was shaking her head as she got out of her car.
"I'm at my wit's end," she said. "We had a really good car for about three-quarters of the race. Then we get in another incident... I don't know. It's a good thing we're heading to ovals for the next four races...maybe I can turn my luck around."
She also commented on Dan Mullen's insinuation that she was styling herself as "the next Alexis Rainsford".
"He did that?" she asked, laughing. "I think it's funny he'd even bring that up with her, to be honest. Look, I was compared to her my whole career in late models, and as much as I try to distance myself from it, it keeps coming back. That's why I bleached my hair a couple years ago, in the hopes the comparisons would die down. I guess I should try embracing it, instead, huh?"

- Durbin Finishes 4th; Takes Point Lead
After a quiet, ominous day in the TM Lights Round of Portland, Ike Durbin finished fourth, and thanks to Sakura Motoko's points penalty he now finds himself in the points lead, by two over the Terra International Motorsports driver.
"I'm so thrilled to have the TM Lights points lead. After Las Vegas and Road Atlanta, I didn't think I would ever even score a point, let alone have the points lead. I know Sakura [Motoko]'s a good driver in good equipment, and it's gonna be tough to keep her and everyone else back there."

I'll do it in a little bit, but I accidentally imported the results to the Darlington race (which there should be a video of made soon).
