- Spoiler:
- Lareau furious after lap 64 incident
Radio communications during the race made it very clear that Brandon Lareau was not at all happy with Ryan Griffin after their scuffle on lap 64 during the Round of Ohio.
Lareau: "What the hell was that?"
McDonald: "Son of a ***** 18 just wrecked us, if you can get to him again, put that little **** into the fence."
Lareau: "I'm going to be on watch for him."
While Lareau wasn't able to get back to Griffin by the end of the race, there's still the question whether or not payback will be coming to haunt Griffin in the near future?

Re: Race 10: TM Lights @ Ohio
- Spoiler:
- Matthews 'embarrassed' by another DNF:
The nightmare season for Tiffany Matthews continues.
Though she has notched one pole position, a top 10, and two other near-misses, her season has been more of negatives than positives.
Her Round of Ohio was yet another one of the negatives, as she was spun by Buffy Boreanaz and sent into the outside wall on Lap 23. The damage to her Bolden was terminal, putting Matthews as a co-leader in a category she didn't want to be in - DNF's, with five.
"I just don't know anymore," she said, dejectedly. "It seems like I'm fighting a losing battle. We had halfway-decent runs at Darlington and Michigan, and now this. I can't wait to get back into my ARLA car. At least we're having success there."
She also addressed the suggestion that she's only in the car because of who owns it.
"That's absurd," she said. "So my husband owns my car. Big whoop. Go look at where Chris Davenport was before he hooked up with Alexis Rainsford. Gimme a break. My talent got me where I am, not who I sleep with."
Team owner Ryan Matthews, present at the track for his TM Master Cup commitments, talked about his wife's struggles.
"She's a tough cookie, but I've never seen her so down like this," he said. "Her head just isn't in it right now. But I think she'll be OK. We're going to finish out the year, and then we'll sit down and talk about things.
"I'll say this," he added, "we put this deal together to get her more visibility. She's certainly getting it."

Re: Race 10: TM Lights @ Ohio
- Spoiler:
- Griffin refuses to comment on incident with Lareau
Reporters, after hearing Brandon Lareau's side of the lap 64 incident between Lareau and the #18 of Ryan Griffin, attempted to get Griffin's side of the story as him and his crew chief, Mark Howard, headed for the officials paddock after the Ohio event had concluded.
However, Griffin choose to remain silent and walked into the officials hauler with saying a word. But, Howard did say one thing. When asked about Lareau's statement, Griffin's crew chief responded with one word, "Who?"
It is believe that Griffin will be penalized for the incident to what extent is not yet known.

- MRD Motorsports Fires John Jefferson, Will Finish Season

- Spoiler:
- Davison disappointed with finish
Michigan race winner James Davison was disappointed with his race as it wasn't what he wanted to back up his debut win at Michigan,"This is kinda a shame for me, he said while being interviewed after pulling behind the wall,"But I still have a win to my credit and it's still given me a lot of confidence for the rest of the season."

Durbin Loses Point Lead Thanks to Engine
After coming off of a second place finish at Michigan, Durbin went into Ohio with high hopes and the point lead. However, he blew up in the opening laps and would finish last, losing his point lead. This would be his second non-points finish in the last three races, his first non-points finishes since Round 2 at Road Atlanta. He had this to say, "I'm upset. I thought we had a good shot at the win today, but our engine let go early. These GLM guys build awesome equipment, must've been a little mistake."

- Harris pleased with 4th place finish
"4th Place, definitely not a bad run for us given how Murphy's Law-esque our season has been up to this point. We've definitely been turning it around." Archer Harris said, after a chaotic round of Ohio.

Robinson's good run may be sponsor motivated.
Justin Robinson finished 3rd in the Round of ohio. This was one of the best runs for the Unit 11 driver, but it may have come at a time where sponsorship for Robinson for 2013 is in the air. With Nikon leaving for T.I.M. next year. Unit 11 is looking for new primary sponsors. Robinson's teammate Mark Blackwell has a confirmed primary sponsor for 2013, although not reveiled. Robinson does not a garenteed primary for next year and recent negotiations had not yelded possitive results.

Andrews blames steering problems for incident with Scott
Mike Andrews is being forced to sit out the Round of Quincy after forcing Dermid Scott directly into the pit wall under caution, but Andrews had a different story that what most people were thinking of.
"My steering was really wonky for a few moments," said Andrews shortly after the race ended, "simple as that. Got it sorted out and didn't have another problem."
Andrews, who finished third with a heavily damaged car, refused to answer additional questions. Andrews and Dermid Scott allegedly had some contact during practice, but there was no footage of practice to back up these claims.

- Spoiler:
- Adams takes victory & the points lead
Adams took his second TM Lights career win today & gave all credit to the pit crew. 'I got told to stay out early. I wasn't sure about it at first but it proved to be the right choice. I apologize to Harris for that wreck. I started taking it easy & lost concentration.'
When told he took the points lead, he didn't say much. 'While it's a good feeling, we need to have this spot after the final race.'
