- Spoiler:
- Reject of the Race: Brandon Lareau
Brakes worked fine until the yellow lights came on, and then they magically became a second gas pedal!
- Retirements I Missed:
- Gaspar de Sousa blew up under caution.
Kuznetsov hit the wall (Anthony Griffith gave him a bit of help) pretty hard about 10 laps before you saw him in the pits.

- Moore Struggles With Handling All Day, Lareau's Brakeless Blunder Infuriates Co-owner Delgado
Starting 15th was supposed to mean an easier road to points for Tom Moore. Unfortunately for him, handling issues from the start scuttled any ideas of finishing in the top 20, as he ended up just missing out on points. It was a disappointing result for the short track specialist, who may have seen this round as his last chance for good points all year.
"I know Tom (Moore)'s pretty disappointed after today, but he did everything he could. He fought an ill-handling car all day and somehow managed to bring it home. He's had his struggles all year, but I'll back him any day of the week to grind out a decent result. I would have liked to see a little more attrition to get him into the points, but I can't complain too much. As for the incident with Packer (Carroll), well...he knows where to find me to talk about it. I've already had my say on social media" DDE co-owner Tom Delgado said in the paddock.
However, the talking point coming out of the DeGarmo-Delgado Enterprises camp will be the continued error-happy driving of Brandon Lareau, getting into a wreck under caution and eliminating himself from the race. Afterwards, one of his bosses was very unhappy with the young driver's continued struggles.
"Brandon's under a lot of pressure to try and keep his drive, and I can sympathize with that. However, wrecking and eliminating yourself under caution isn't something I can sympathize with, in fact it makes me rather angry. I'm not sure what went wrong under that caution, but I have a feeling it wasn't the car. What I don't understand is how we somehow always find our way towards being the laughing stock of the paddock and the live broadcast on TV, our reputations are not being done any favors by this continued reject-like driving. I can tell you that I'm not happy at all with how today went, and that is all the people out there need to know" Delgado added, before hurrying off, hopefully to once again stress the use of brakes under caution to his driver.
Looks like all is as it should be at DeGarmo-Delgado Enterprises once again. Both drivers finish out of the points, co-owner expresses disappointment & frustration, occasionally trying to pick a fight with either a fellow driver or the media, etc.

- Top ten boosts Leckliters confidence
After running as high as second, Daniel Leckliter came home in tenth with a car that has struggled with pace in his last two races. He and the crew celebrated like he won once he got out of the car.
"This is the reason why I love Ohio, this track makes good things happen."
Leckliter's next appearance is at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Atkins credits team after "incredible showing", unhappy with Carroll
Ben Atkins achieved his best ever finish with Tutino in the 2014 Round of Ohio as he managed to bring the car home in 13th place, despite looking in very good shape to score Tutino's first top 10 finish, running as high as 5th near the halfway point of the race. Atkins' previous best finish was score just 7 races ago at the Karjala Grand Prix, where Atkins scored a 15th place finish.
On top of this, Scuderia Tutino and Ben Atkins both earn a lot of valuable TV time in the race due to Atkins' stellar performance and the somewhat lucky pit strategy that put Atkins in the position he was for the majority of the race.
"The car wasn't the best today, but our strategy guys were on it!" said Atkins, "We had some really good pitstops today, but the car really faded away at the end and some people on the track didn't help us, but that top 10 is coming very soon. I can tell it will."
Despite the smiles on pit road in the Tutino pit box, Atkins was not pleased about everything, and went on to express his displeasures with some of the driver; particularly Packer Carroll's.
"I don't know what Packer's deal was. We were on the lead lap, one lap down at most and he decided to screw with us and try wreck us multiple times. He never gave me space and kept divebombing me too. If I didn't just score my best finish with the team, I'd definitely be having words with him, but I seriously have no idea what his problem was. He definitely cost us that top 10."
Atkins will be out on the track again for the 2015 Round of Wisconsin at Road America, where he scored points last season.
