So two start & park teams time their way into the Daytona 500? Even though Stremme was flirting with the top 3 GOGH teams in practice.

Re: 2012 Daytona 500 (Qualifying , Duels and the Race)
Yeah I'm guessing Stremme and Raines will start & park the duels.
Re: 2012 Daytona 500 (Qualifying , Duels and the Race)
Wouldn't be surprised if they do so that they can run the full race next sunday. These teams wouldn't dare S&P for the 500.

Re: 2012 Daytona 500 (Qualifying , Duels and the Race)
I fell asleep after about 10 cars took their laps. Edwards and Biffle were on the front at that point. Glad to see I didn't miss anything.

I'm happy to see fellow Indiana natives Raines and Stremme in the race for Sunday. Inception Motorsports only has one car here, so they will definitely start and park on Thursday. I'm excited to actually see the duels for once because I am normally in school during the first one at least.

I still don't see why Ambrose is in duel 1 when he was an outside qualifier?

Raines has a backup car, so they might run the Duels. Stremme definitely won't with one car and eight crew members in the whole team.

Judging by how I have apparently inherited my dad's streak of cheering for anyone who's career is about to die and for people I hate starting to do really well...
I could believe that.

None of these starting grids are going to be as good as Brock's. But studying for a BAR exam is more important than putting up grids and satisfying fans. It seems like Marcos has a fast car for the 500.

Michael Waltrip's wreck could've been one of the biggest fails I have seen in racing.

Interesting Duel. Still seems like they want to wreck each other all over the place.
Lol Waltrip, McDowell being derpy and a viscous crash by Danica.

Well didn't Robby mention about having some motor problems in his post race interview? If that was the case, I guess he couldn't swing a deal to get a motor or something. I would prefer to have someone else buy their way in if Robby can't race the 500

There were people desperate enough to let Deletraz and Ide race in F1. The difference is that Waltrip was like that for years and years...
Wonder if Mikey would prefer to buy out one of the NEMCO cars if they qualify (same manufacturer).
At least the Police State Mobile is done.

There are a lot of us here that know better than to do what he did in that race. I've always tried to believe that he's just a midpacker who thinks he's better than he really is, but now I'm starting to believe all the anti-Waltrip talk here, lolJMac525 wrote:Michael Waltrip's wreck could've been one of the biggest fails I have seen in racing.

Re: 2012 Daytona 500 (Qualifying , Duels and the Race)
Addendum to Robby's situation.
I heard Robby said something along the lines of; "Michael Waltrip doesn't have enough money to buy the 7."
MWR I think even said they wouldn't buy the 7 car, which makes sense given their association with Toyota... and oh yeah Robby has a Dodge.
I visit PlanetRobby on a semiregular basis, and one of the videos on the front page is Michael Waltrip failing.
I felt pretty gutted for Herman (KEEEEENNY Wallace), but he effectively got screwed by start and parkers -- however, those said start and parkers didn't have backups to use for the 500, so I can't say I blame them!
