Re: (LDS) Race 5 - Vicker Collision & Glass 100
- Ruiz V Kidd:
- Timothy Ruiz was on pace for a possible top 10 run and a sign of a possible rebound. However, with a few laps to go, that chance was thrown out after Jim Kidd spun out T. Ruiz coming off the corner. This allowed Smith-Thompson to take the win under caution. However, during the cars pulled into their pit stall, T. Ruiz intentionally slammed into Kidd in retaliation of the spin. Just after that both got into a shouting match that quickly turned to a shoving match, leading their pit crew to separate the two. Afterwords, T. Ruiz held nothing back, saying and I quote "Kidd is a goddamn donkey and I can't comprehend why PSI keeps him around." The team gave Ruiz a self imposed probation for the remainder of the season as a result of this.

- Meyato out of Ride:
- J.C. Eagle pulls sponsorship, Meyato out of ride
In a shocking turn of events, J.C. Eagle Professional tools has pulled their sponsorship from Freya and Saito's flagship #74 Inglesby. It was reported that it was due to a tweet posted by Dan Meyato accusing both race winner Billy Ray Smith-Thompson and Mark Thompson of "using the same devices used by Benji Flynn at Buffalo 2010". Meyato could not be reach for a comment but team co-owner Marcus Freya had announced that Archer Helms would move to the flagship #74 and their developmental driver Garret Brunswick would drive their R&D #15 Inglesby with Brunswick being sponsored by Scorpio Plasma Batteries.

Re: (LDS) Race 5 - Vicker Collision & Glass 100
- Alexa Lake @ 70/77:
- Alexa Lake, who came into 70/77 very low in points and on a poor qualifying was not very ecstatic for this race. Citing the many mechanical issues from the manufacturer Kanako, Alexa Lake expected to blow up.
Come race time, Alexa Lake did get into a little trouble, spinning a car and causing the first caution. Hunter Blaze went out of the race because of this. However, Alexa Lake continued on through the attrition to eventually find herself in second and saying over the radio "..This aint going to last."
To the team's shock, while her car wasn't lightning quick -points a finger to Mark Thompson-, her car's vibrations she had noted on every other track, were not affecting the car this weekend. Alexa Lake ended up coming home the last car on the lead lap in fourth, after many a lapped car held her up. "Finally!" was all that was heard on her radio.
She cited later on that "I feel like for some reason, this junKanakomobile actually likes the dirt. There wasn't any vibrations other than the hearty amount of bumps from this uneven track."
She hopes that this luck will continue on, and she will return to a similar sort of power she had last season.
