EFR GP4 Offline League *RACE 1 RESULTS ARE UP / RACE 2 Q IS UP!*

New offline league I have decided to start up after playing gp4 for the first time in years. All rules, Schedule and points will apply from the 2001 season. I will be posting pictures for a few races as well as some videos. Weather will be on random as well as opponent spread (If you don't get that, It basically means anyone can win). There will be 22 Spots available. Races will be run at 70% distance.

Sorry guys for not doing the race today. My girlfriends grandma passed away today and she is really shaken up right now. Please keep her family in your prayers. Ill post when I will do the race which will probably be run this weekend but Im not 100% sure.

Dont want to start a flame war but bwardboy, If you are worrying about when Im gonna run the first race, then go do something else. I personally find that comment a bit disrespectful right now. I dont like coming on here seeing all the support then seeing your last comment. Ill run it when I can and if you cant wait then you can run it. Im just not gonna hear that right now. There are more important things Im worrying about and I may be ranting like Bandsma but I want to tell you now when Im calm and relaxed instead of later when Im pissed about something and possibly get myself banned for raging. So please no more of those comments right now. Again thanks for the support guys. I really appriciate it.

I wanted to say something, but I thought I'd be way too out of line. That was absolutely not the thing to say bward, somebody died, and the first thing you ask is when is the race going to be up, that's just really inappropriate. I'm not going out on a full blown rage, but I'm just saying, when someone dies, it's common courtesy to show a little respect. Batista, I know we never really got along well, but take care of what you need to. Help your girlfriend through this, and take as much time as you need.

Round 1 RESULTS:

Did a screen cap of the points only because I didnt realize I needed fraps to be open to take screens of the race itself. It didn't save the replay like I thought. I appoligize for that. If you see your driver with a blank finishing number, that means you didnt finish. Start of the race was fairly exciting with a lot of passing. On lap number 9, Jean Alesi Spun off the final corner and got drilled by Jacques Villeneuve. A few laps later, Ralf Schumacher blew up from the second position. The race went quiet until 11 laps to go when scheduled pit stops happened. Everyone started to get bunched up again and were racing really hard for position. With 8 laps to go, The battle for the lead really started to brew up between both Arrows cars and Montoya. The were under a blanket. No one knew who was going to win Unfortunately with 6 laps to go, Montoya seemed to have some type of problem with his car locking up the brakes into turn One and went into the gravel trap. The bigger problem was he didnt get out of the trap because he had a suspension failure. That incident got the Arrows to run away with it and got 1 -2 in the race with Frentzen finishing in 3rd, Coulthard finishing 4th, Enge finishing 5th and Barrichello finishing in 6th, the last points paying position. Next race is at Kaula Lumpur in Malaysia for the second round of the year. Anyway here are the points standings after race 1.
