NASCAR's West Coast swing continues with the first trip to Phoenix - the second-to-last race at the track in its current configuration.
Will the bad blood from last week's Vegas FightNight Afternoon carry over, or will have things settled down?

Xfinity wrap-up:
* See what happens when experienced Cuppies (glares at Kyle Busch) aren't in the race?
* Good win Allgaier.
* Austin Dillon apparently went to the Kyle Busch School of Being A Bitch.

At this point, I don't need another reason to dislike him, but he continues to give me new ones.

I am on a ROLL with predictions lately!
Okay granted this wasn't that ambitious of a prediction but shut up I'm happy.

Welp, Ryan Newman just commited a felony...
...because he stole that victory.

Got to say, it was a satisfying weekend of racing. Congrats to Allgaier on the Xfinity race and Newman on the Cup win today. It's been an insane start to the season so far in the Cup series.

With Allgaier and Newman winning, this weekend broke two winless streaks.

Which considering what has happened here in the past, Carl Edwards (2010) and Kasey Kahne (2011) and even race winner Newman once before (2010), doesn't surprise me.
Re: NASCAR at Phoenix
While I'm at it, in both of his Phoenix wins, Ryan Newman led less than 10 laps (4 in 2010 and 6 yesterday)

Re: NASCAR at Phoenix
That Was Actually a Pretty Good Xfinity Race.
Hey Dillon, YOUR A CUP DRIVER RUNNING IN A LESSER SERIES, you cant be mad at a rookie driver in a series you probably shouldnt be in.
that was actually a fairly good cup race too. Good For Newman. also we have had 4 "Stolen" Races to start the year, 1 guy is leading, the takes it away from him in the final laps. I think the Stages helped cause it kept more cars on the lead lap in both series.
California Next, hope its decent.
