NASCAR Xfinity Series: Mid-Ohio

Notes:
* Only Cup driver is Ryan Blaney, who will be in the 22.
* Kenny Habul drives the 88 for JRM this week.
* TBA drivers: 18, 74, and 77, and 97.
* Tomy Drissi and Nelson Piquet Jr. appear to be the only road ringers, but with the number of TBA's that could change.

Race is on USA Network like the Cup Glen race due to the Olympics. 3 PM ET Saturday if you're inclined to tune in.

(I originally wrote Drissi's first name as "Tomi", in apparent confusion with Tomi Lahren, which is a terrible mistake to make. Lahren's much better looking. )

I'm actually hyped for this race. Cheering on Erik Jones like always!

Owen Kelly is expected to be in the 18.

Nic Hammann will probably return to the Harmonator's car, and I would expect Morgan to withdraw again (I don't believe he owns a road course car). That being said, I think this week is wide open.

Morgan probably won't withdraw if there's only 40 cars on the entry list.

Tommy Drissi not cleared to drive. Mike Bliss in Car 14 for Tri-Star Motorsports. Reason on Drissi: Recovering from Shoulder Surgery. Drissi will race next week at Road America

RCR swept the Top 4 spots in Xfinity 1st Practice

And Olympic OT basketball is preventing the Race from being shown atm

Awesome job by Justin Marks! Quite simply he kicked ass today!

Best race of the year by far. So wild.

I was really pulling for Bubba to win, but Justin Marks fully deserved that win, that was a legendary drive in the wet.

This was probably one of the best Xfinity races I've seen in a long time.

Justin Marks deserves this one.

A rain race at Mid-Ohio, eh?

Best race of the year on Nascar side, fun stuff...really proved who were the drivers and who were the pretenders.

Hell of a job by Marks today, kept it on the island and was pulling doing so. He's been around for 10 years and that was without a doubt a career run.

That was the best Xfinity Series race all season long. Congrats to Justin Marks on a boss drive today in the wet.

This. To be honest, this race looked like what would happen if I ran an NR2003 offline race with ai_slipcurve turned way down. I'm not complaining though, because it was phenomenal! Justin Marks drove a hell of a race, he was outpacing the field near the end by a full three seconds in torrential conditions. Makes you wonder what he could do on ovals.

Race of the year, hands down. Without doubt one of the most thrilling races I've watched, even with a driver who was as dominant in wet pace as Justin Marks was.

I'm glad that I tuned in for this race; that was amazing the whole way through! Even the few laps in the middle that were essentially dry.

It's been stated multiple times, but that was an outstanding display of talent by Marks. Hornish obviously was also fast and recovered very well, but I think that a lot of credit is also due to Lally, Day, and Wallace, Jr. The car that Lally drove was nowhere near top-level, and likewise with Day (who had never before driven in a NASCAR race in the United States), and Wallace was extremely fast for someone who had never raced in the rain. It's unfortunate for him that he went off-course too close to the finish to get a better result.
