2014 Ratings Package + Due Dates + Mod Information

This package applies to all 4 FARC touring series.
 
For those that don’t have NASCAR Racing 2003 Season, each AI car has its own set of ratings that determine how competitive the car is. There are three ratings categories:

Ratings Categories:

 
Ratings are stacked based on accomplishments and the engine type that the car uses.
 
DRIVER RATINGS
 
Drivers are separated into 6 different classes, each with their own base ratings for all 8 fields in the Driver categories.
 
Characters that fall under a certain class may be placed in a lower class by their creator if they feel that the character shouldn’t be in their default class.
 

Driver Classes:

During the 2014 season, drivers may be promoted to the next class if they fulfill the next class’ requirements.
 
CAR RATINGS
 
Car ratings are separated into 6 classes with their own base ratings like drivers. These ratings are submitted by the team owners, and each car on a team is to carry the same ratings.
 

Team Classes:

ENGINES
 
The base ratings for each class apply to all fields in Category 3 (Car) EXCEPT for Engine, which is dictated by the type of engine that the team is using. The engine bases are as follows:
 
V8: 30-70
V6: 40-60
L4: 50-50

The V8 engine may only be used in the Elite Series. Crown Mods are required to use the V6, and Sport Mods and Regional Cup are required to use L4s.
 
THE RULES
 
For each of the three categories, submit 3, 6, 9, and 12. (remember: do not send team ratings if you do not own the team) These numbers are the amount added to each base rating (both MIN and MAX), and each number may only be used once in each category. Alternatively, you may request to stick with the base ratings without adding anything, but you have to ask for this, or into Class L you go.

The same ratings are to apply to the character and team (the exception for team ratings being engines and restrictions such as full-time Trucks) across all 4 FARC series. Sending different sets of ratings for a character and/or team competing in multiple series authorizes me to pick one set of ratings and apply it to the other entries.

All pit crews are rated 0-100.
 
Car files and skins are to be submitted via AIM or uploaded somewhere and linked to me in on the GOMA TeamSpeak or in a PM on here. I would prefer that people send me rated .car files, and any physics will do because I have a car converter. Targas (.tga) are acceptable too. I will not accept anything else, and I have the right to reject any paint scheme.

You may not request to change ratings after the character's first race has been run.

MOD INFORMATION

If I don't list meshes for a particular series, it means that there is only one mesh in the series.

So if a team (top 10 in 2013 Truck points) has two Truck Tour entries (1 full and 1 partial), the full-time truck gets Base T while the part-time truck gets Base B.

For clarification, would that be correct?

Will those with part-time entries be submitting schedules this season?

The due date has been extended to February 15th at 11:59 PM Central time. Real life is going to prevent me from finishing everything that I need to by the original deadline.

REMINDER: Cars are due TOMORROW, FEBRUARY 15, AT 11:59 PM CENTRAL TIME.

If I get ratings, but no car, your ratings will be applied to a blank car, but please get an actual scheme to me sooner rather than later.

I thought I previously made this clear, but apparently I hadn't:

Characters competing in multiple FARC series are to have the same ratings across the board.

For those running partial schedules, please get those to me sooner rather than later.

There will be an entry list for each race on TMPedia, and when I receive your schedule, I will put your entry in those races.

Partial schedule restrictions

Elite Series: 10 race weekends (not including Texas Triple Crown races, where everybody gets a free invite. Stay away from Japan.)
Truck Tour: 7 races
Modifieds: 6 races
Regional Cup: 5 races

ROTY entries must compete in at least 14 of the 52 races to maintain eligibility.

You can post in the Silly Season thread (Link) that you're a new team looking to enter a FARC series. Post some info about your team and drivers, and Ceej may consider whether or not to enter your team in canon.
