In honor of the NRA 500 and the Party at the Poconos 400, post race naming disasters from NASCAR history

Sprint Unlimited (feels unfinished, needs Shootout at the end)
Hella Good Sour Dips At The Glen
That period where crown royal named their race after some random guy sucked
Irwin Tools Night Race (Sharpie 500 ruled, so did Irwin Tools 500, this is just wierd)
Wonderful Pistachios 400 is ridiculous

Curtiss Shaver is a firefighter that's missing part of his leg, I don't know if one was named after a veteran though.

Any that I can't remember off the top of my head... in other words, quite a few, but especially those that don't have the name of the track in the title. It does make the race more difficult to find if I'm looking it up retroactively for something.

You can ask me; "Remember what happened in the 200whatever EA Sports 500?!" and I won't know what the hell you're talking about, but if you ask; "Remember what happened in the 200whatever fall Talladega race?!" ... then you stand a much better chance of getting a straight answer.

This is why I love F1 race names... "2009 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix" tells me all I need to know -- the race is sponsored by SingTel, it takes place in Singapore in 2009. Done.

The Good Sam Roadside Assistance 200 presented by some local company at Rockingham, it doesn't seem that bad, but on jayski it got shorted to The Good Sam Roadside Ass. 200.

For me, any name that has at least 5 words in it and ends with "500" or "400". Just seems like way too much to take in. Simple names like Samsung 500 or Lifelock 400 work just fine.

I thought it was just the Crown Royal 400 at the Brickyard. (which is a decent name, but Crown Royal Brickyard 400 is better, IMO. Tells you all you need to know)

Shelby American @ Las Vegas (points races that arent at Watkins Glen should have race distances in the name.

Cheez-It 355 at the Glen (just ditch the "at the Glen" or ditch the 355)

Coke Zero 400 powered by Coca-Cola (redundancy. Just Coke Zero 400 is good, but my name from the schedule suggestions, Coke Zero Firecracker 400 is my favorite)

The American Ethanol 200 and 225 is confusing, not a bad name though

Midsummer Classic (Eldora. Personally, I would add the race distance to the end)

As already mentioned, Icebreaker is crap.
