A.J. Young's Master License Revoked After Multiple Incidents in Practice
Scuderia Tutino driver A.J. Young made TM Master Cup Series history by being the first driver to have his Master License revoked in a practice session. This came after a pair of incidents in practice, the first occurring when Young appeared to lose control of his Tutino leaving the pitlane, merging in the middle of turns 1 and 2 and spinning his Tutino, collecting teammate Tyson Lautenschlager and Chris Johaanes. Young brought his car back to the pitlane and did not come out for another 30 minutes.
After being on track for 20 minutes and spinning on two other occasions, Young returned to the pitlane. His second major incident occured again while leaving the pits, Young merged in front of Tyrone Stanley, destroying both cars and nearly causing Young's car to roll over. Stanley was seen walking over to Young's car and punching him once before being escorted away. Young did not return to the track and was called to the Steward's Office, as was Stanley.
Stuart Sandoval, who is on hand as the Bill Barclay Racing reserve driver, drove the Tutino for the first time in second practice and was faster than Lautenschlager. Sandoval will run this race only in the #42 car.

Re: Quincy Pre-Race Thread
I thought Ryan Nawrocki was the first driver to get his Master Cup Series License Revoked.

Read it again. Young lost his license after practice, not after a race.

I say good luck to Sandoval, and A.J. could have done better. Now what about Matt Smith?

Young unhappy about expulsion from TMMC
A.J. Young was seen walking back to his motorhome after emerging from the Steward's Office, where his Master license was revoked due to causing multiple crashes during opening practice.
Young was approached by reporters, and told them, "The officials won't give you a damn chance to adjust to these cars. I'm trying to learn how to drive these things, and I guess they already decided I'm a friggin' monster. They are the biggest bunch of elitists I've ever seen. They expect you to be flying right off the bat, but that's not how real life works."
Said Chris Johaanes, who was collected in an incident started by Young, "Everybody knows that idiot can't drive, so why does he keep getting rides? It can't be because of the cash he brings, because he'll tear up more cars in an hour than a year of his checks will cover."
