Yes, just yes. So much so, I'm not even going as I originally planned earlier in the year.
Seriously everyone, don't watch it. Save yourself those hours instead of wasting it on what NASCAR calls "a race".
Re: Its Time to be Really Bored 500 - Sprint Cup Series
inb4 it's a total wreckfest and we've got 3-wide for the lead on the final lap.
Who am I kidding, it's Texas.

That's why I love DVR. I can record it, then skip to the end if its boring. I didn't think the Spring race was too bad though.

>Jimmie Johnsons average finish at Texas: 9.7
>Brad Keselowksis average finish at Texas: 25.2
That's only 4 spots of being in the top 10 WORST finishes at Texas.

Something tells me these numbers are insignificant when Brad has made only 5 starts at Texas and JJ has started every Texas race since 2002.
Re: Its Time to be Really Bored 500 - Sprint Cup Series
Also need to take into account that Brad was really crappy in his first year with Penske.day500champ1 wrote:Spannerhead29 (Nelson) wrote:>Jimmie Johnsons average finish at Texas: 9.7

Are you sure its only five starts? I remember him starting one or both events in 2009 in Hendrick's 5th car? I remember him wrecking out or blowing up in one of them I think...

Isn't that exactly what everyone said about him at Dover?
Re: Its Time to be Really Bored 500 - Sprint Cup Series
Apparently in a recent article on NASCAR.com, it says that Jimmie Johnson's win at Martinsville may have just deal the fate of the 2012 season, especially since he tends to run well at Texas and the final two races at Phoenix and Homestead. For sure I can doubt that, but a 6th title is 100% surely coming his way.

If Jimmie does wreck like at Texas 09
Wish it will happen
Brad has the title..

If Brad's going to win he needs to be ahead of the 48 from here on out.

I think it'll be the only way for Dodge to celebrate their last year in NASCAR as well.

Jimmie Johnson on pole. Here's the full starting grid:

Before the race, quite possibly one of the strangest things ever occurred. A weight from a parachute hit Kevin Harvick's car on the starting grid, now they've returned to the garage for repairs.

If Kevin wins this race, I would find that sand bag and hang it in the hauler.

Stupid, none of the leaders fighting for any sort of critical position on the track, it ruins races.
Re: Its Time to be Really Bored 500 - Sprint Cup Series
Because people not racing hard in the first third of the race clearly ruins races.BWardboy88 wrote:Stupid, none of the leaders fighting for any sort of critical position on the track, it ruins races.

It's kind of sad that the skydiver deal has been the most interesting thing to happen in this race... and that deal happened before the race. :/

Sprint Cup races are never exciting anymore apart from the Restricot plate races it is such a shame.

Plate races are boring until the end where the wreck a bunch of cars and people who like that aren't true fans, they're only in it for the wrecking.
Not a terrible race, you people have to realize these are cookie cutters with the COT, they aren't going to be overly exciting. Not bad though. Nice to see Brad and Jimmie giving it their all.
