Manticore Engineering Takes Shots at Competition

Manticore Engineering released a terse comment about some of it's competition in the PCC Cup Series after the MospoRoadAmerica race.

"The only way Klara [Kindahl] could be beaten is if other cars took her out. It's a shame that our competition has to resort to hiring Dave Hetzel and Chester Benson, both of whom are only out there to crash into people anyway. It's a very underhanded tactic, one that we at Manticore Engineering would never do. That chump Korodovos has no reason to celebrate."

Murphy's Day Ends Early, Team Encouraged by Progress

A.J. Murphy crashed out of the 5th race of the PCC Cup Series season at Road America in the early stages, but MRD Motorsports officials were encouraged by the progress made.

"We were hopelessly slow in the qualifying race with Flint (Stoneman), but A.J. (Murphy) showed a little bit of speed and was competitive here. Our day was ruined by A.J.'s inability to navigate road courses with any sort of competency, and then you have guys like Pete Maverick out there trying to be a hero early in the race. Way too early to even think about that, absolutely stupid" MRD Motorsports owner Tom Delgado said.

Delgado is on the preliminary entry list for the next race at Talladega, and despite being in a new car, he is expected to breeze past the qualifying race easily, and was confident in doing so. "We are pleased with what we've seen from the Acura RL in our testing. We're gaining speed every day, and we're learning new things about this car. I think our #67 Acura will be deceptively fast and I think we can do well. It's a harsh process, but we're doing very well with it" Delgado added when asked about the progress of making the Acura competitive.

Korodovos celebrates 2nd win of the Season

The 39 team has swept both road courses, he had some stern words for the Manticore Engineering Team. "One thing about the PCC Cup Series is manuvering through all the (censored) drivers. It is a name of the series. We all hate the wastes in the field, but you have to learn to deal with them. Heck, In rally, I had to avoid, Sheep, Lamb, idoits running across the track, and Izack Kowalzyck crashing. So this is pretty easy..."

Casey Lester: So, Manticore Engineering. You totally wouldn't have one of your new touring car drivers, who has no experience in stock cars prior to this, wrecking a struggling team out of a potential Top 5 run? Nope, never heard of a team with such respect and high prestige in this series. We should all just move over and let the great Manticore team take the title, should we?

I was under the impression I got loose and Klara had no where to go, but I am starting to think Klara is the reason I got loose. I guess this confirms a theory I had about Manticore being all car-no driver. I think we have enough power to get us through next weeks crapshoot.

The Total Auto Racing Decency Society will have to investigate whether Hetzel was racing in the buff and how closely he is associated Ramsey Coqinner.

Daniel Foray blames a blockage in his windshield for his incident with the 85 car.

"It didn't help he got wide like that, but some genius decided to drop a banner right on my windshield right before we collided," An upset Foray told reporters, "Whoever did that will be seeing my lawyer."

Manticore Laughs at Hetzel

"We wrote a letter to the management of the #17 team telling them how proud we were of them for finally training a chimpanzee to drive a race car." a Manticore Engineering representative said.
"When we saw that it wasn't a chimp, we expected that the driver would be a 75 year old grandmother with restless leg syndrome. After we found out that neither were the case, we knew that Klara encountered a driver of legendary incompetence..."

After hearing that another one of their competitors, Casey Lester, slagged the team off, the representative thought for a moment.

"I'm trying to remember who Casey Lester is, but he clearly isn't important enough to warrant a response, because even when you said he was a driver, I still couldn't remember who he was... who does he drive for again?"

After firing his PR Rep for one to may typos David Hetzel had the following to say.

"Well I guess it's true, we were going to enter a chimpanzee driver into Cleavland this year. But I think Manticore beat us to the punch with the #14 car, maybe I should pay them to let me in on what there secrets are. "
