- Spoiler:
- Ashley Tucker fed up of bad luck
Ashley Tucker, who was set to have a stellar run, blew up early in the going after leading every lap she had participated in. She says that luck isn't going her way recently, and that she is sick and tired of the bad luck she encounters.
"Yeah, some of it's my own doing, like Albuquerque, but with races like this, and the Mini Indy 500, it's just infuriating. I need to have races like Lone Star where I run good, show my potential, and show why I'm at Riggs. I mean, Riggs is a fantastic team, but I need to show why I'm there. I don't feel like I am right now."

Re: 2012 Race 13 (Karl's 250)
- Spoiler:
- A good start for naught, Woodard not too happy with finishing results.
"I get a top 10 qualifying run and I freaking blew it!" Woodard cursed under his breath as he moved the lone reporter aside, "Sorry ma'am, but the car was set-up horribly for the race, it was way too tight to begin with. I specifically asked for it to be loosened, and they screw that up as well! I'm so freaking glad that my ARLA tour is over for the time being. Jack, good luck you crazy Aussie, you're going to need it." Woodard would go into the team's garage and bang on the hood of his car until it was dented in. When questioned about the incident between him and Nick Azure, he simply replied, "Look, Azure and I aimed for the same spot at the same time, that damn spotter told me that I was clear and I got the worse end of it." He would go two laps down having his crew repair the damage.
"They hauled their butts getting the car fixed. But they apparently forgot to adjust the damn car right again." He was referring to his car being up in the wall due to the hard steering. When asked about the other incidents, he didn't respond. He headed for his rental car to head to the airport.
Jack Dempsey, who will be driving the Japanese Tour in Woodard's place, was seen at the track with the rest of the team. He merely quirked "This is who I get to the replace? Damn, he's lousy in this series." Dempsey, the person that he was, had to be corrected that Woodard has had more issues with being wrecked than anything else.
OOC: Relieved to have my driver taking a break from the series until Iowa. And nice Sticky Hooves billboard logo

- Spoiler:
- Howard & Hayes Top 10's, Gaffigan Crashes & Hetsuno Blows Up
MRD Motorsports restored some order in California, with Joseph Howard and Jim Hayes delivering top 10 runs, finishing 6th and 9th respectively. Unfortunately, Kyle Gaffigan and Kiriki Hetsuno encountered issues. Gaffigan crashed in an incident not of his own doing, and Hetsuno blew up after the makings of a top 10 run. The #87 team of Tom Delgado, which was scheduled to run at Las Vegas, withdrew when the race was moved to California.
"Joseph & Jim gave it good runs today, they showed some moxie. We'll have to have a talk with Kyle about that threat I made last race, and our engine department will have plenty to answer for by costing Kiriki a shot at winning" Delgado said, while pushing a wheelbarrow full of ice cream. "The ice cream? Yeah, it's for Ashley. She had a bad time, and I think this will make her feel better. BTW, you're all invited to our wedding on Christmas Eve. Come, and you better bring us awesome gifts!" Delgado added.

- Eichholtz Elated With Race
"Ben and I had a great run, it all came to fruition when Libby got wrecked, I beat the leader back to the line, got on the lead lap. On the subsequent restart, the field got spread out and we had a fast enough car to pass a bunch of people from the back of the lead lap. Great day for everyone at Eichholtz Autosport."

Pushanda, "Gave Orellier what he asked for"
Vijay Pushanda, has been quite angry as of late. This time Kalvin Orellier was his target. "He got what he asked for," Pushanda stated. "ARLA can penilize me all they want, but he was slow or had a problem. I went down to pass him, he forced me down for than I should have. So, I dumped him. He was 50 or so MPH slower, YOU DON'T BLOCK!!! RACING 101 DUMB***! Heck I thought I went easy on him. If he did that to Allie Riggs, he would have ended up in a hospital bed." Pushanda stormed off to his motorcoach. Pushanda's brother Sulinder, is worried about Vijay. "I have never seen Vijay so angry in my entire life, it's not just Kalvin's fault, there have been alot of issues. I am worried about him."

- Spoiler:
- Zachary Zins suffers panic attack after first victory at California
About an hour after his maiden ARLA victory in California, there were reports from the infield care-center that Zachary Zins had been checked back in after suffering from what the medical team could only describe as "a panic attack". While reports are still coming in, eyewitnesses say that he refused to partake in victory lane celebrations and immediately went back to his hauler. Before entering, a swarm of photographers approached him and tried snapping pictures of him. Zins apparently ran to his hauler, shouting obscenities, and accusing them of trying to "scramble [his] memory". He subsequently locked himself in the hauler for a half an hour before Phillip Borland, his teammate, intervened. While details are fuzzy after this, it is said that Borland gave him a sleeping pill and got him transported to the care-center for further evaluation. Borland recently posted on Zins' homepage seekthetruth.nwo saying "Zins is a bit on edge, but he's alright. He'll be back for Japan."

- Spoiler:
- Good day for Matthews, knocking on points Top 10:
From the first lap of the Karl's 250, Tiffany Matthews decided she needed to be in "go for it" mode.
If her performance was any indication, perhaps she should try it more often. Matthews finished sixth in her round, and by virtue of that finish finds herself eleventh in points heading to the Japanese leg of the ARLA schedule.
"I needed that after last week," she said. "I just wish we could've gotten a little more out of the car so we could've challenged for the win, but hey, you gotta take what you can get. I'm happy with sixth."
Rogers has "promising" debut despite DNF:
To say Kellan Rogers has had a whirlwind 2012 season is an understatement.
Between her Dash Cup commitments and the beginning of her RROL campaign for Matthews Motorsports, Rogers has logged a ton of frequent-flyer miles.
She added more to her account as she made her ARLA debut at the Karl's 250, where she began her stint as a fill-in for Mac Rhylen in the 86x car for Ike Durbin, Inc.
"I've been so busy the last few weeks, I'm amazed I can still stand up," she said. "But it's all been worth it."
She also said she's grateful for the opportunity, short-lived as it might be.
"I know I'm not here long, but I wanted to show the guys at Ike Durbin, Inc. that I can take care of their stuff," she said. "And I did for the most part - that is, until the engine let go. But I had a good time out there."
She'll be hoping the ride lasts longer than just one race.

- Spoiler:
- Nikos Kastapolous responding to the race:
"Well, it was a kinda decent run, you know it's a little harder to deal with it having this big difference in results and strength between the short tracks and everything else but.. pretty good run, can't complain too much, we'll head to Japan and hope for the best."

- Sandy tries to start fight with Dudding after getting wrecked
Barton Sandy's disappointing season continued at California after being in a crash with the ever infamous Derek Dudding. After the race, Sandy went to go after Dudding but then he was told to go back to his area. Sandy had this to say after the whole affair.
"Derek Dudding doesn't belong on the track, he's slow, white trash and always like a bomb ticking, you don't know when he's going to go boom and wreck you. But I can't wait though for Japan, closer to home and road courses are the best bit about the trip there, also the TMMC Australian trip plus ARLA Japan will teach me about jet lag. But seriously the next person to wreck me is going to be sorry. Derek, you're lucky that my crew chief told the officials about the whole thing going down."

- Spoiler:
- Cranston finishes 8th, Caldwell addresses improvements
Lane Cranston's up-and-down rookie season in the ARLA Elite Series went back up in the opening race of the Karl's 250 at California Speedway in Fontana. Starting inside the Top 10, the Clarksville, Tennessee native ran as a high as second at one point in the race, before finishing eighth.
It was Cranston's first Top 10 finish since his podium finish in heavy rain at Mosport.
"I'm glad we were able to get our name back in the spotlight after races where someone else's stupidity caught us out," Cranston said. "When that last caution came out, we decided not to pit. We knew we could make it to the end. Running near the front was nice, but I knew we didn't have the car to catch up to Bobby [Porteau]. I'm just glad we got back in the Top 10."
MT Motorsports owner Fred Caldwell addressed why his team has been improving with so little funding.
"When I started this team, I hired people who worked on these late model bodies on both asphalt and dirt," Caldwell said. "I knew we wouldn't set the world on fire right off, but I wanted guys who knew how to tune engine properly in these cars. Sometimes, the reliability has been great, other times we've blown up. But the guys are tuning the engines the way we want them."
MT Motorsports will likely have sponsorship in 2013, from the Manchester, Tennessee-based bank, Descend Local Credit Union.

Ambulance Transporting Bell to Hospital Involved in Accident
In an odd turn of events, the ambulance transporting PSI ARLA driver Libby Bell was involved in a traffic accident. Bell had to be transferred into another ambulance for the remainder of the journey. Bell's condition is not believed to have been exacerbated by the wreck and the second ambulance arrived at it's destination safely. Bell's condition will be updated as soon as more detailed information becomes available.

- Spoiler:
- Yamada Thankful for 10th, Unhappy with Another Bad Strategy
Makoto Yamada had mixed feelings when he got out of his car today. He told us, "I'm glad we racked up another top ten, but I think we could have finished even higher. Sure, more guys than just us stayed out, but it still doesn't mean it's a great idea. I would've preferred to race the last leg of the race with fresh tires, but I guess that's the crew's call. All in all, a top ten is fine with me. This is the highest I have ever been in the points."

Bell in ICU
Libby Bell has been moved into a private room in the Intensive Care Unit. She is conscious and alert but has been suffering from dizziness and blurred vision and overall soreness from the restraints digging into he neck and shoulders. Bell was injured during the Karl's Superstores 250 on the 4th caution of the day at California Speedway. Shortly after another restart, Libby Bell was turned by her PSI teammate Rip Tyler and she slammed into the wall going in excess of 200 miles per hour. Bell barely avoided disaster by slightly angling the car to impact on the left front side. If she had collided with the wall head on or with a direct impact to the driver side door, this incident may have been fatal.
PSI owner William Power stated that "Libby's on board telemetry indicates that she probably still had a hold of the steering wheel upon impact. That's one reason she's so sore right now. Actually she made a mistake by not letting go of the wheel, and that may have saved her life. This could have been a lot worse had she not been able to veer off at the last possible second. Thank God for that-- but the doctors tell me she should make a full recovery."
Bell's PSI stablemate Rip Tyler was inconsolable at the time of the writing and asked not to be interviewed.
The race was red flagged for 20 minutes as Bell was extricated from the car. "She went from being called "Wonder Woman" to wondering if she'd ever finish a race to wondering if she's going to still be alive," stated Power. It's been tough on her, but with the miracle she wasn't hurt more severely, maybe the name "Wonder Woman" still fits.
When asked about possible replacements for Bell, Power said that it wasn't the right time to discuss it. He did say that "There's a month between California and Motegi, so I'm fairly certain she will be fully recovered by then."

Bell to See Neurologist
Libby Bell was moved out of the ICU and into a private room today. "Her vision is clearing up now and that's a good sign," stated William Power, owner of PSI. "She didn't suffer a concussion either, which is even better news. We don't have a Jim Kidd-like situation where he lost a whole year of his racing career. Libby will see a neurologist and she'll have an MRI as a precautionary measure, but she's getting around a little better and even wants to hold wheelchair races."
