What would you say is the worst nr2003 track ever?

Title says it all. What do you consider the worst nr2k3 track in existence?

Nurburgring is really bad

There was a completely flat half mile oval Josh Mertz made. Nothing against him, the AI was horrific.

Mallory Parks Oval needs AI help, I have tried everything to make the races not fail, and when I do, the speeds only max out at 50MPH because theres so much drag. The sad part is, I bet its great online.

the ICR Toronto and Vancouver conversions are worse IMO

Spa is pretty bad too. Witness last year's VSCC race for proof.

The TMMC version isn't bad, the one thats starting line is heading into Eau Rouge, well....

was made for a fail online league, and the pit lps were horrible so if you hit the apron wrong you went into the pit wall

That's why you don't run with steering assistance.

For me it would be Melbourne. The track itself is amazing, but there is a place in heaven for the people who designed it to be on that game. I removed immediately from my NR2003 game because the layout of the track wasn't right and there were no grandstands featured either.

I don't have the game [yet] but I've heard the original Grand Detour was pretty bad.

This track is so bad its beast.

You just proved that you haven't watched a CART race there ever. I did a few test laps around Belle Isle for NR2003 and it wasn't that bad. There's a lot worse out there...

CRI Superspeedway... I recall having that track and deleting it for exactly the same reasons Dan stated. The track was pretty crap.

Melbourne looked half-finished... probably unsuitable for online and offline racing. If you don't believe me, check it out yourself and tell me what happens to the pace car...

Moor Mountain looks like it would belong in the Suspension of Disbelief category on TMPedia if a race was ever run there... that aside it's probably okay.

Le Mans is pretty bad for NR2003, the AI is all over the place there and it's kind of dull.

Toronto and Vancouver are conversions from really old games so the fact that those aren't great isn't that much of a surprise. If there's no AI then it might be okay. Toronto has a glitch in turn 3 that throws cars into the air if you cut the turn too close.

Nurburgring is fine for online racing. It works okay, just the AI do some bizarre stuff sometimes. Like float.

I want to nominate Montreal for the simple fact that there's a part of the track that, when someone hits it, immediately crashes the game. The worst part? It's not that hard to hit it. It's also not fun in NR2003. Try it in rFactor, much better there.

The Paris "road course" has LPs that go through one of the walls and it's also really dull.

Indy Banked, because I have not heard of a race there that wasn't total fail, regardless if it was online or offline. It is otherwise fine.

Thornton is pretty good, but I've heard a lot of people say the track randomly crashes their game.

The following track never made it out of beta stage, but Shade Tree Raceway had a pace car that pitted on the back straight.

I'm going to discount E4 and other tracks that have no cameras.

6 Feet Under Raceway I would call fail, though it does have good racing and no glitches I've seen. But when you set the AI at 110%, it looks like the cars are on hyperspeed.

Watkins Glen no loop....every race I ran there has had a fail in turn 5.....

the default Watkins Glen has some bad pace car AI. Guess we could add that to the list.

Easily Indy or Pocono banked. I cannot figure out a way for the cars not to fail in every corner of the tracks.

Maybe your AI rating percentage is too high? If they are 105-110 percent strength, they tend to hit the majority of track walls coming off the corners anyway.

Castle Gorge was a track that Ceej just didn't want to fix the AI for. It works just fine, so therefore I don't think it needs to be mentioned.

Yes, because I would consider that track a very close 'hi grip wrecker' type of track, and should only be used if you have some sort of urge to laugh at the helplessness of AI as they destroy one another or push up the track. It's for fun
