still woulda been a Kyle win without the aide of a caution. I mean it is Treux we're talking about.
BTW Tyson, I think you need a new avatar

I don't regret watching Doctor Who instead of the early part of the race

Re: NRA 500 - Sprint Cup
Really feel bad for Truex. He's been trying so hard to finally break that winless drought, but yet another one gets away from him.
Even with the Gen6 car, this was easily the worst race of the year so far. Can't say I'm surprised though, because it is Texas, but I was hoping the Gen6 would've improved the racing. Needless to say, it didn't happen, and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see this race earn the worst race of the year title for a second straight year.
My final rating for the NRA 500 @ Texas: 2.0/10

Saw the Truex falter coming a mile away. Oh well.
Another terrible Texas race. Teamspeak candy coated it for the most part.

eh, i feel like vegas was worse, but its very close.
EFR Voting at the end of the year will determine which race was worse. Kentucky might have a say in this too.

Brad K: "Absolute bulls*&t that's been the last 7 days in this garage area. ...
"Brad K: "From the things I've seen over the last 7 days have me questioning everything I believe in." #nascar"
BK: There is no team in this garage with the integrity of the 2 team. The way we have been treated over the last 7 days is absolute shameful

What the hell is Brad moaning about?
I heard about the read end housing, but what is he going on about regarding "The last 7 days"?

I did the same thing, looks like that was a good choice. Especially since the Doctor Who episode was really good.

Adding fuel to the fire, Keselowski's car was taken as the "random" car to go to the R&D center along with the 18.

More drama. Great.
Is it me, or does it seem as if the NASCAR politics is getting just as bad, if not, worse than the F1 politics?

Honestly, I felt it already got there when Nascar first visited Brad about his comments regarding NASCAR before the season started and again when they fined Denny Hamlin for essentially reasonable Feedback on the Gen 6 car.
Re: NRA 500 - Sprint Cup
By the way. One more thing. The caution happiness was quite ridiculous tonight. Throwing yellows for tire smoke is pretty silly.
The last 7 days refer to that Martinsville incident. I can understand him with Nascar being dumb because these last three races have been pretty terrible integrity of the sport wise.

He retired the 47 after a engine failure, something like that
Re: NRA 500 - Sprint Cup
The most unusual race in NASCAR history. Period. I mean the race was a complete borefest, the officials throwing cautions at random, targeting the 2 and 22 teams with rear-end housings, unfortunately a fan killed after the race. At least I got to watch The Big Bang Theory half the time.

It's been bad for a while, but I think the drivers are really starting to get tired of it. If tensions keep rising, something's going to happen. Don't ask me what, because I don't know, but something will happen.

Probably some form of union. I should imagine there is a growing amount of people who are sick of the random ways NASCAR dish out cautions and penalties.Sparkz47 wrote:RACECAR wrote:RealRacer4 wrote:More drama. Great.

Re: NRA 500 - Sprint Cup
That guy that died last night at the track shot himself in the head... Yep, a gunshot to the head at the NRA 500. Safe to say they won't sponsor the race again next year.
Re: NRA 500 - Sprint Cup
Don't you see? He was just exercising his second amendment rights! It's good publicity for the NRA that a firearm was used during/after the race they sponsored!PKligBKFan wrote:That guy that died last night at the track shot himself in the head...
