People care so much about New Hampshire that they thought this was the Nationwide Kentucky thread. I'm not sure if that's hilarious or absolutely sad.

Eh, not like it matters who's parking the 10. It'll wreck en-route to park due to Lewandoparkforcheckski's abnormally long name blocking the window
Rooting for Brad Keselowski to win this weekend.
Dave Blaney practicing and qualifying the 22 while Hornish is in Kentucky. Keeping my fingers crossed that by some miracle, Hornish won't want to do the Cup race and Blaney can race the 22. ((Heh, like that'd happen. But one can wish.))

I get the feeling Kyle will be to this Chase what Tony Stewart was to 2006's.

My thoughts after this race are...
Good Championship Jimmie, 2011 was a off year folks.

Reminds me of 1999 when Dale Jarrett won the championship. Not a single race he won was interesting that year.conrail1990 wrote:And Denny wins another race that was very non-memorable....
Not an interesting race, but I wont say it was bad. Sometimes it's nice to see "the best stock car drivers in the world" actually act like it and pull off a clean race.

Re: Sylvania 300 - Sprint Cup
Very boring race, I wish I could've fallen asleep. Dale Jr seemed to be really struggling in this and getting into a few hiccups, and Jimmie is on his way to a 6th championship. It doesn't look like we may get a thrilling battle for the title, less accidents happen in this Series now which is what makes these races really boring to watch. All drivers just want to keep their cars clean throughout every single race now and it's ruining NASCAR a lot.

It's just my opinion on what NASCAR is like these days, I'm not saying I hate it at all.

Soooooo close. You had me until that last segment. Races at New Hampshire tend to be like this. I was at that horrid race in 2000 when Jeff Burton led every single lap.
Personally, I don't think drivers keeping their cars clean is a bad thing; if they want to claim to be the best race car drivers in the world, they should be able to bring cars home without damage. Crash-free races (because NO NASCAR race will go caution free as long as Brian "Debris Caution" France is in charge) can be exciting (see Talladega 1997, 2001 and 2002) but New Hampshire is not normally conducive to exciting racing.
You're really looking for everyone on this forum to hate you, aren't you? Stay classyPRAWBLEMS wrote:FixedBWardboy88 wrote:NASCAR SUCKS BECAUSE URNHARDT ISN'T WINNING AND THE CARS AREN'T CRASHING GOD DAMMIT!

Re: Sylvania 300 - Sprint Cup
This race was so boring I decided to go to sleep instead of watching it...that was after I had already fallen asleep once earlier. And I'm not usually one to turn a cup race off.
And to sum up my opinions of the race, good win, buzzkill. And good championship Jimmie. I honestly won't mind if Jimmie wins the title, rather have him over Hamlin any day.

Re: Sylvania 300 - Sprint Cup
Hamlin dominates and win. This I'm happy with . Buzzkill takes the points lead which I do have a problem with , but it's still early .
I actually missed the from lap 101 on, but it was because I wanted to see a Beatles tribute band that was playing a ways from me at 4pm so for the first time this season I missed watching a full cup race. Wish I wouldn't have.

Re: Sylvania 300 - Sprint Cup
Living up to his user name, huh....
I wish they'd left Blaney in the car. He qualified 10th, and who knows, he might've gotten the 22 team their best finish of the year. *shrug* Oh well.
Never thought I'd see a race where the drivers would actually act competent and not try to put each other in the wall. Of course this'll change next week. ((Where all the parkmobiles get demolished with no harm to the drivers. >))
That is quite the coincidence, hmm. Hamlin wins the most boring races of the year

Blaney wasn't going to win that race if he stayed. He got Toyota's first pole here but in the race he dropped like a brick. Seldom has Dave Blaney ever been fast ... :\

Would've been a nice change though, don't you agree? Unfortunately, you're right. Blaney's only been fast at Talladega and Daytona the past few years, though ANYONE can be fast at those tracks
