One of the best sounding F1 engines you'll ever hear. A 1.5L V16 engine designed by BRM that had a 1.95 Bore and a 1.90 Stroke. What sucked about this engine is that it was unreliable as hell.

Wow. I haven't seen this at my local Target, although in that store those signs are everywhere. Which is fine by me, because it puts indycar in people's faces which will help ratings. Although I doubt that those things are behind the Indycar ratings increase...

I was on the Internet (looking through Sprint Cup 2011 results on racing-refernce), and I found this.

4 of the top 5 for me, I know who Nicholas Kiesa is. He raced in F1 for half a year for Minardi.

And if I remember correctly, Derek Hayes had a try at the Busch Series sometime in the early 2000's.

The car is a junior quarter midget where there is a lot of 6-14 year old girls who races these cars, so no it's not a troll car, this does give me an idea for my next ISRA Cup car though.RealRacer4 wrote:Chives2112 wrote:Courtesy of 3 Wide Life's Facebook page.

They're kids that don't have the skills of a professional driver. It's not the first time I've seen an incident like that. There was one race where this one kid in a champ-kart feature race spun out and another kid that was not paying attention at all t-boned the driver so bad, he broke his leg and couldn't race for the rest of the season, and this happened during the season opener.
I'm really glad that both drivers are okay. That is absolutely scary that something like that happened.

Horrible crash for someone no older than 15, but that was definitely the driver exiting the pits fault, he hadn't even held his hand up. Whether he is aged 12-15 or not, he had to take a license test which specifically mentions that you must place your hand in the air in both exit and entrance to pits..

Re: Racing Video/Picture Thread
The main driver in the video wasn't looking forward, it wouldn't of mattered if the exiting kart raised his hand or not.Milan655 wrote:Spannerhead29 (Nelson) wrote:

Not to mention that there's clearly a line at the exit of pit road that drivers exiting the pits are supposed to use to seperate them from the main race traffic, yet the driver on-track completely ignores the line and drives right through the lane.

The main driver was looking forward, he'd just dipped his head toward the steering wheel to reduce drag, the driver exitig the pit was even looking backward yet still pulled out of the pitlane.

KZ2 runner-up, John Lennox-Lamb (JLL), throws a tantrum after being passed (2:30)...he did this back in 2008 (I think) with a friend of mine in the British Super One championship. Kept his job at the works CRG team (very major kart company) because he's sleeping with the owner's daughter..

When safety devices go wrong. To make things worse, the kid is no more than 12 years of age (maybe younger). Thankfully they don't use seatbelts in Junior and Senior across the world, where they would likely kill in one of these instances.

A video production group that makes wingless sprint car montages out of them. Their work is amazing. It's unfortunate that USAC and the WoO doesn't get the same T.V. coverage like they used to back when SPEED and ESPN actually cared about the racing.
