Timmy Hill > Blake Koch

Timmy has gone from Legends to Nationwide in two years, has run for a team that's had to use 3 S&P teams to support itself and is still has a chance to beat Blake Koch, who has had a slightly better team, a teammate in the top-10 in points, and more total stock car experience. I rest my case.

Implying Hill didn't get that ride by buying the seat.
Implying Hill is not the slowest back-marker out there with just a few exceptions.
Implying Reed Sorenson got into the top 10 in points with the #82 ride.
Implying Koch hasn't picked it up as of late.
Implying Koch didn't miss two races at the beginning of the year.

Your stupidity continues to amaze me Pretzel.

If you really think about it, Timmy Hill hasn't done too badly. He doesn't wreck the cars, unlike Koch, so that's a plus.

Implying Koch didn't miss two races at the beginning of the year.

Hill also missed a race at the beginning of the season. so Koch only has a one race advantage over Timmy.

Implying Hill is not the slowest back-marker out there with just a few exceptions.

I can think of at least 7 1/20 teams, that are slower or at the same pace as Timmy Hill. (Eric McClure, Go Green Racing, R3 Motorsports, Jimmy Means Racing, Derrike Cope. Curtis Key's team, Morgan Shepherd, and ML motorsports (When they dont have David Stremme in the car) ) are all slower or on pace with the 15

Implying Hill didn't get that ride by buying the seat.

Depends if you consider nepotism and ride buying the same thing.

Implying Reed Sorenson got into the top 10 in points with the #82 ride.

yeah ya got me there. Sad

Implying Koch hasn't picked it up as of late.

Not a fair comparison, since Hill has been having mechanical woes the last couple of months. For all we know he could be picking up the pace too.

Your stupidity continues to amaze me Pretzel.

Not to make this conversation pointless but Ryan Truex is actually leading Rookie of the Year standings by 3 points over both Hill and Koch.

All those teams should be full time (Although most have had teammates, who Start and parked, they've all been full time and running every race)

It doesn't matter. It's based off of your 16 or 17 best finishes of the season.

Therefore, the amount of races they have competed in has no revelance in this argument what-so-ever.

And by the way, Koch is with a team that has run full time for the last five years in the NNS. Hill runs for a team that has run one full year in the last seven or more. And that wasn't even technically Rick Ware Racing, it was Stanton Barrett's team.

Technically Ryan Truex has a very good shot of winning ROTY. Currently, Truex has a three point lead over Hill and Koch, which with the minimum points scored for the highest finishing rookie being 10, would mean Truex would finish third since he is not entered. However, since Rookie Points run a driver's best sixteen finishes, certain positions in the field would make Hill and Koch not score points. Hill must finish higher than 23rd to score points, but that could necessarily knock out a lower scoring race, because it goes off best finishes, not most points. Koch must finish higher than 25th to score, but like Hill, could still bump a higher scoring run.

What a garbage series when Hill beats a guy that beat him most of the year and another guy who scored near his point value in half the races.

I understand Truex should have won it, but I'm a Hill fan so I'm obviously going to be happy. The way they determine the ROTY champ is pretty stupid.

Honestly, a lot of you guys on the forum just constantly complain about the sport. Either figure out a way to do something about it or quit complaining. Or stop watching all together.

Honestly, a lot of you guys on the forum just constantly complain about the sport. Either figure out a way to do something about it or quit complaining. Or stop watching all together.

How would you suggest that? NASCAR doesn't care about what we say, no matter how much sense it makes.

I hate Timmeh too, but stop whining, both drivers suck.

This.

I'll be honest here, Timmy Hill has done NOTHING to impress me. Neither has Blake Koch. They've both been "Meh" all year. I hope that they don't get rushed up to Cup ASAP, and take their time developing. But even if they develop, I won't be surprised if Hill or Koch is stuck with TRG or worse if they go to Cup.

Both suck, nor in best equipment either. If this is the talentpool in NASCAR then it's really damn low.

At least the motivation for your second sentence is now perfectly clear.

Not to be a dick, but if you don't like people disagreeing with you, then don't post in this subforum.
