Camden Rhodes will be out for an unknown length of time due to injuries suffered in the accident on lap 54. Despite the initial appearance of only two barrels protecting the attenuator that Rhodes impacted, later images show a full tire barrier at the accident site. Could this be evidence of a time-traveling benefactor saving Rhodes' life?



Kerry Fenton of Impulse Racing and Kurt Walker, coming out of retirement for a one race deal with for SWH Racing, both showed up in cars carrying No. 51. FARC rules dictate that cars may practice and qualify with duplicate numbers, but the team that qualifies the highest has the right to that number for the race. Kurt Walker outqualified Kerry Fenton by 5 spots to start 28th, allowing him to keep the 51. Meanwhile, an unamused Chris Johaanes, Impulse co-owner, was forced to tarnish his brand new car with a No. 5 fashioned out of black Q-Trim.
