Re: Visionet logo
OK, first off: change the color of the word NET. On a white background it's unreadable. Maybe use a darker grey.
Secondly: you should make it so the lines on the word NET are the same thickness as the V. It looks awkward as it is.

Re: Visionet logo
I think this might be helpful.
I also have a golden rule that I use for most logos I make these days -- always make it so that it looks good in monochrome. Also, make variants that are for 1:1 spaces, and for 2:1 or 4:1 spaces. If that doesn't make sense, think of it as hood logos and quarterpanel logos.
The V with the Sauron-ish eye in it has some potential. Even more so if you use negative space properly.

Re: Visionet logo
So I made a third version. I decided to drop the NET part all together and focus on the V. I subbed out the black and light black/dark grey for navy and purple and made the eye yellow and orange. How is it now?

Re: Visionet logo
I definitely like these colors more...
A human eye’s iris is circular as opposed to how your graphic has it in an oval shape...
Personally I think it would look better circular. Also, maybe play around with the placement of the eyeball... maybe the V is rising up out of the eye or the V is like a cone coming out of the eye.... There’s definitely room for more creativity here.
Nice progress so far.

Quick update on this post:
I want to say that while I appreciate the help and the ideas, I kinda burnt myself out on making the logo. I did like some of the versions and the idea but a few days after the third version, I pretty much procrastinated and lost that spark. I thank all of you for the idea and the constructive criticism you gave me but I'm just not cut out as a logo designer at this time. Hopefully in the future I can make a good one that would be memorable but for now, I need to take time and just practice.
