DP's get shut-out in their last race, Magnus won but then got DQ'd...might be PWC bound we'll see.
If IMSA wants to be serious they need to ditch Fox, 4 hours of coverage and a live stream ending that was newbie streamer on a crap streaming program bad and geo-blocking on the IMSA website equals reasons why people won't be giving it the Fox Sports stations a speed send-off when they go. (Both networks are in bad shape apparently)

So what channel is magically going to show a great live stream of a 12 hour race? Or should they move entirely to internet?Alta wrote:DP's get shut-out in their last race, Magnus won but then got DQ'd...might be PWC bound we'll see.

- #31 (Action Express Racing) wins the Prototype championship (in the final year for the DP cars)
- #8 (Starworks Motorsport) wins the Prototype Challenge championship
- #4 (Corvette Racing) wins the GT Le Mans championship
- #63 (Scuderia Corsa) wins the GT Daytona championship
That's 3-for-3 in Prototype titles in the WSCC for both Action Express Racing and the Corvette DPs. It's also the second consecutive GT Daytona title for Scuderia Corsa, and the first title for both Starworks (PC) and Corvette Racing (GTLM). On a personal note, I'm very happy to see the Starworks car #8 earn the PC crown!
On to the race, itself, as much as I wanted the Viper to win in GT Daytona, I didn't want them to have to do so on a technicality. You have to feel sorry for the Magnus team; they would have bookended the season with Enduro victories had they won (and Lally put on a great show at the end to pass the #33 within the final two minutes of the race). Also glad to see Michael Shank Racing take one last win in its final Prototype race!
Overall, I thought this was a really good season of racing, with the most memorable part being the thrilling races in the Rolex 24. Looking forward to the see how the new Prototypes do next year, and to see how MSR does in GT Daytona with its Acuras.

Re: 2016 Petit Le Mans
Judging by how it worked when i tried it in June, NBC seems to have the live streaming down. Don't know if they would want IMSA though.PRAWBLEMS wrote:So what channel is magically going to show a great live stream of a 12 hour race? I could understand if it was an amateur, but when Fox advertises the streaming platform as essentially a 3rd channel then there's no excuse for that kind of bad quality streaming which screwed people out of seeing the end of it.
