NASCAR and ARCA at Pocono
This week, race teams head to the Pocono Mountains for a stock car racing triple header at the Tricky Triangle. Last week, Martin Truex Jr. won the Coca Cola 600 in a dominate fashion, leading 392 of 400 laps in the race. This week, Truex and the #78 team return to the track the team won at one year ago as NASCAR heads to Pocono Raceway. Will Truex win multiple races in a single season for the first time in his career? Or will someone like Joey Logano or Dale Earnhardt Jr. score their first win of the season and all but clinch a spot in the Chase?
This week also marks the debut of the Xfinity Series at Pocono. One major story for the week is Jeb Burton suddenly losing his ride in the series. Burton is currently 11th in points, which means his spot in the Chase is certainly up for grabs. Another storyline to watch is the Cup drivers, who have won eight of the first 11 races this season. However, does running at a new track even the field out for the Xfinity Series contenders?
Finally, the ARCA Racing Series returns to Pocono in the middle of a six week stretch of races. Last week, former series runner-up Parker Kligerman returned to ARCA, winning the race at New Jersey Motorsports Park. This week, the #22 car Kligerman will be driven by Myatt Snider, the son of NBC pit reporter Marty Snider. The younger Snider started one ARCA race earlier this year at Toledo, and ended up winning the race. But it is Snider's teammate, Chase Briscoe, who holds the point lead over Josh Williams.

Re: NASCAR and ARCA at Pocono
Despite the absence of RPM's #43 car in the Busch series, I wonder if the seat time and ok performances (from what little I've seen) in that car have given Jeb Burton the confidence to do better in the #32 car than he did in his comically awful rookie campaign last year.
Also glad to see Con Nicolopoulos back in action in ARCA -- only because Greek surnames like that are usually really awesome. That's really the only reason. But I see Wayne Peterson practiced the car Nicolopoulos is entered in for final practice...
...well, Bo LeMastus is still running, anyway. So there's at least one needlessly awesome name in the field.

I don't even know why Roush kept him after 2015. He had one win, but didn't do anything after that.

I still think Reed's $$$ is helping Bubba keep his ride, when he barely gets any sponsorship.

Be like me, mute the TV and just commentate the race in your head.

I have the IMSA race on my laptop, as the Xfinity race is just background noise
Re: NASCAR and ARCA at Pocono
Larson wins rained shortened xfinity race. Went 3 laps past halfway so I guess you could say he got the Michael waltrip treatment
Glad to see something good happen to him for once

Reed and Sieg had a fight. Sieg called Reed braindead among many other things.

I don't blame Sieg, I would do the same thing.
