Expecting fails in this race, like the car going over the guardrail.

Actually, Brennan Poole won this race last year. Hackenbracht won the second race.

I'm curious as to why they revamped the rest of the track, but not that particular wall...bigdc48 wrote:Expecting fails in this race, like the car going over the guardrail.

I might be at this race, weather dependent. Have free tickets from a Hershey Bears game earlier this year (their one giveaway was tickets to this race). They are calling for a chance of storms though, so if it looks iffy, I may not go.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. Might go, but tired of getting rained on at Pocono.

Frank Kimmel will start on pole with Mason Mingus next to him in this race today after qualifying was rained out. Kimmel tries to tie ARCA legend Iggy Katona's all-time wins record of 79.

43 cooked his motor, and the 22 slipped in his oil and wrecked it appears. Sitting near the start-finish line, top row. Was changing channels on the scanner when the 22 backed it in

2nd caution. 15 ran out of gas, but found a way to keep on the lead lap, 40 out of gas and had to get pushed. They are having all sorts of fun trying to get the car started again
Edit: just had a 3rd caution. 88 spun. 44 also scraped the wall
Edit: and anoter. 07 and someone else (can't tell) wrecked. One car stalled on the track. Looked like a HARD wreck. Complaints about someone passing on a redraft when they shouldn't at the wrong place.

Fun race to watch (though I did not run into flyingturns). The seats I had actually did not give me too bad a view of the speedway (Had a great view of the tunnel turn, and other parts of the track). Will be heading back up tomorrow for the Cup race

I was there though. Decent race. My one complaint was that it took 45 laps to get the #40 car to park, cause his car started smoking before they even got on track.

Casola was quick though. He was running inside the top 15 all race. I wouldn't want to park it either.

I believe, when I was listening to the scanner, that there was a problem with the ignition or something of the sort. When he was running, he was fine.
And where were you sitting at?!? I had decided to sit up a few sections from the start-finish line, top row
