- Spoiler:
- In the land of unpredictability, Kenny George triumphs
28 years old, but a long time short tracker, Kenny George III suprised the whole field at the LoBo Twin 100s, stealing the win following a caution period: "We are so thankful to Ashcroft Family Racing, they gave us this engine and spare parts, since we bought the car from them, they helped us so much during this whole weekend, I'm so surprised that we did as well as we did today and I really really hope we can finish the 200 tomorrow and maybe , just maybe steal the show." said an ecstatic George, born in Tampa, three hours away from Daytona.
Ashcroft Family Racing brings midpack results, not very amused
Following the Twin 100s, Jack Ashcroft, partial owner of Ashcroft Family Racing had few words about the races that defined the field for the Smash Beer Get Smashed 200: "We came here, did what we could do, didn't forced the equipment, we are saving our stuff for tomorrow, hopefully nothing bad will happen by then." About the caustion that involved PART driver Thomas Tucker, Ashcroft was not really amused: "Y'know, when you have 33 hungry guys and gals going for it at 190 miles, sur'ly nothing good can come of it, I'm happy we didn't got the short end of the stick and the damage is not big."

- Spoiler:
- SWH Racing places high at Daytona
SWH Racing has already burst into the top placings this weekend at Daytona, Danica Holifield in the #25 placing 3rd in the first of the LoBo Twin 100s and rookie Max Schivilen placing 2nd in the second race. This means that two out of three SWH cars entered will start in the Smash Beer 200, an amazing feat for the team who only debuted in FARC last season.
"For sure, Danica and Max [Schivilen] have done an amazing job so far this weekend. If you told me a week or two ago that we would have two cars competing in the Smash Beer 200, I'd have said you're joking. It's a real testament to the guys we've got working here at SWH as well as a real desire to succeed from our drivers", SWH co-owner Jay Holifield stated.
Schivilen and Holifield are 6th equal and 8th in points respectively going into the Smash Beer 200 tomorrow.
Peterson into the Smash Beer 200 in debut season
Troy Peterson, driver of the #00 Dale Clough entry has made it into the Smash Beer 200, just! Peterson, who was running around the end of the top 20 all race managed to finish 19th in the first of the LoBo Twin 100s which means that he will compete in the main event.
"Wow! I did not think coming into this season that I would be able to qualify for such a prestigious event so soon. It's a big credit to all the guys at Dale Clough Racing and I just really want to thank Dale for the opportunity he's given me. Let's hope I can do the team proud and finish high in the 200!", said Peterson.
Green or Die's Birch manages to gather it up
Tiffany Birch had some problems in her FARC debut, running last for much of the event.
"Yeah, the car just wasn't quite working well in the early stages of the race. I'm not sure quite what the problem was, but it managed to come together in the latter half, which was good for me!", Birch laughed.
The youngster managed to power her way up to 15th in the final placings of the second qualifying race, and will start in tomorrow's main event.

- Spoiler:
- Riley Durbin Places Fourth in Twin #2 @ Daytona
Focus Autosports is a single car operation in the FARC Smash Beer/Lowe Dollar Series that fields a Lenard Cheyenne on a limited schedule, driven by Indiana's Riley Durbin. The small team has shown potential in preparing cars for superspeedway racing over the past few seasons, with both of the team's two pole positions and its best race result coming at restrictor plate tracks. This year, Durbin will get a chance to pilot the car at the storied Daytona International Speedway, in what will be the first race of the 2016 edition of the championship.
Car #38 ranked an unimpressive 46th in pole qualifying among the 66 cars who entered the Smash Beer Get Smashed 200, achieving a starting position of 23rd for the second race of the LoBo Twin 100s. However, Durbin managed to avoid trouble during his Twin and placed the car into the lead pack during the closing laps. He brought the car home in fourth place, improving 19 positions from where he started and earning a tenth-place starting position for the main race, which will take place tomorrow afternoon.
Daytona could be regarded as a special racetrack to Focus Autosports. The team's very first race in FARC LoBo Truck Tour (at the time known as the ARLA Tornado Alley Truck Series) competition was at the same venue in February of 2013. The team had never competed at Daytona prior to that race, and with the exception of a late model race on the infield road course in 2014 had not done so again until this week.

Hetzel estatic as Stater qualifies for Daytona.
That loud yell you heard was FARC owner David Hetzel a part time driver and PART and FARC owner. He was just celebrating his qualification in the FARC Daytona 200 with driver Todd Stater. "I'm so Stoked" said the 36 year old Virginian businessman and driver "I love FARC and to actually to be a part of the big show is amazing!" Stater will start 19th at Daytona
Spavital makes race he didn't mean to attempt
"I'm happy to be here" Said Kyler Spavital "I wasn't even thinking of coming here, but my friend told me I should try and attempt the first race of the year, but he also said it was likely be at College Station too. So when I found out it would be at Daytona, I decided why the hell not and decided to race anyways."

- Spoiler:
- Tauger qualifies for Smash Beer 200 with 12 place finish
"That pit call by Matt Pursel (Tauger's crew chief, really paid off for me in the long run, qualifying for the event at least. After about ehhh...five years or so out of these stock cars, I end up with a great car thanks to (Marcus) Freya and (Nokamaru) Saito." Tauger told reporters.
"フレイアさんがトラックでここにあった場合、彼は私のようにスターティンググリッドにあると同じように誇りに思うだろう。” (If Freya-san was here at track, he would be just as proud to be in the starting grid as I am."
