Xfinity and Trucks at Daytona
The lower-tiers will kick off their 2016 campaigns at Daytona Beach. Both series will implement a new Chase format.
The truck series will have a 20-minute caution clock in play.
Grant Enfinger and Johnny Sauter will start on the front row for the truck race.

Johnny Sauter proves driving like an utter dick can win you races. Never liked him for that exact reason...
Glad Christopher Bell is okay after that huge crash! Flipped over 9 times!

Fuck off Johnny Sauter. Wanted Ryan Truex to win that race bad.
Glad Christopher Bell is OK after that. It was a decent race but almost dozed off.

The only guy I didn't want to win, won...
Shout out to all the underfunded guys finishing 2-6, probably never see that again,
Truex, Kligerman, Brown, Young, and Kvapil.

Pretty wild truck race.
Christopher Bell giving us the 90s Nostalgia for the weekend, cause damn that looked like a proper Rusty roll.

Re: Xfinity and Trucks at Daytona
That was an exciting race to me, although it's disappointing that it ended under caution. It would have been a great race to the checkers if it were to have finished under green. Very relieved that the ridiculous caution clock never needed to be used tonight.
I'm very surprised that the crash on lap 92 didn't occur earlier; there was about twice as much contact (and twice as many fantastic saves) as any Truck Series race that I've ever seen at Daytona. And Bell's rollover was one of the more violent that I've seen in a very long time in terms of number and speed of the individual rolls. He flipped more times than McDowell at Texas in 2008!
With both of the Lira trucks DNQing and Gallagher getting wrecked early, I was rooting for Truex at the end. And he came sooo close! I really hope that he and his team can run the full season. And I hope that the other GMS drivers can get some race victories for themselves!

I'm ok with Chase winning, may be a cuppie, but it's someone likeable.

Technically, he isn't a cuppie until tomorrow.
Also, just like I thought, the caution clock wouldn't really be noticeable in the truck series. Is it stupid? Yes, but it could be way way worse.

It will be when they get some long green runs. What the caution clock ruins is the strategy that goes into long green runs, especially if fuel mileage becomes an issue. The caution clock, IMO, takes away one of the more intriguing aspects of auto racing.

Ok Xfinity race. Started of wrecked-filled and then calmed the hell down.
