The 2nd best part of yesterday's races. John Hunter winning the truck race puts the icing on the cake.

Got to give it to Denny Hamlin for being a dumbass on Lap 2.

*insert weekly awful race post here*
Decided to tune in this week hoping for a good race to kick off the chase. Probably not tuning in until Homestead now.

I hope Joe Gibbs Racing just implodes.
Joke of a race, season and sport. Indycar save us please.

Wasn't that bad of race really. 6/10ish IMO. It'll be interesting to see what happens with Harvick now.

Re: NASCAR at Chicagoland
Only entertainment value was Jimmie Johnson taking out Harvick. Glad I didn't go to this one.
If the whole broadcast would have been an endless loop of Harvick hitting the wall then I would have given it 18/10 but it didn't so I give it Fudderwacken/10.

No, I just know how terrible the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland is.

Re: NASCAR at Chicagoland
My review on the myAFibRisk.com 400 @ Chicagoland:
Meh, so-so race.
There were some stretches where the racing was REALLY boring, like from lap 51-120, but the first 50 laps were really good, with Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex, Austin Dillon and Kyle Busch fighting hard for the lead during that entire stretch leading up to the first of the green flag pitstops, which was easily the most entertaining portion of the race to me.
The end of the race was pretty mundane up until the final caution set up the final five lap shootout. The restart was pretty crazy, but once Hamlin got the lead, that was pretty much it, and the race ends with yet another boring finish.
Gotta give props to Hamlin. Torn ACL in his right knee, spins out and falls a lap down early in the race, and comes back and wins. Still, it's yet another JGR win, and those are getting pretty old at this point.
Final rating for the myAFibRisk.com 400 @ Chicagoland:
Little bit of a middle of the road race. Wasn't good, wasn't bad. A 4.5/10.
Next race, we head to New Hampshire.
