Trevor Carrington Racing Withdraws From 2011 Championship
Trevor Carrington announced on Wednesday that his team was withdrawing from the 2011 season, citing a lack of funding to continue onwards. Their last race saw the team finish 24th and 28th with Erik Olsen and Dan Mackay.
"We felt we had at least enough to get through the year and then run TM Lights next year." Carrington said.
"Unfortunately, funding has a big voice, and without it you can't really race."
Carrington's withdrawal means that there will be 40 cars on the grid instead of 42 for the Round of British Columbia. It is not known if the two places reserved for TCR will be opened for one-off entrants or not.

Taylor Comments on TCR situation
Cameron Taylor got his big break in the TM Master Cup Series with Trevor Carrington Racing. That team has now suspended operations due to funding issues.
"it's sad. Not only because it's the team that gave me my big break but they also gave Dan [Mackay], Eric [Olsen], Divina [Henton], Leslie [Riggs], and Paul [Green] their breaks. It's the end of an era, a time where if you had a sponsor you had a team that would give you a shot. Hopefully we'll see Trevor and hid team somewhere in the future. I could see him running the VSCC, because that's a low budget series where you can really do well."

Rain Expected for Round of British Columbia
Weather forecasts for the weekend have shown clear skies with occasional bursts of rain for the TM Master Cup Series and TM Lights practices and qualifying. The TM Lights Round of British Columbia on Saturday had clear skies, however, for Sunday's TM Master Cup Series Round of British Columbia, there is a high chance of rain. The TM Master Cup Series has never run a rain-affected race at the HLR Circuit, except for the last time the TM Master Cup Series raced at the track in 2004, when heavy rains forced the race to be run on Monday in its entirety.
