- Spoiler:
- Davison upset
"Has a great car all day, all the way until my first pit stop where Cullotta thought otherwise. Just cannot catch a damn break since my Michigan win, I'm not getting the results to show for it."

- Jefferson Dodges Early Chaos and Escapes With 8th
The #37 team finally had something to feel good about after a miserable season, as John Jefferson was able to make the most of the early-race calamity and move up to 8th place by the time the checkered flag waved.
"This Exide Batteries car wasn't very fast, but I think I made up for it by driving smart and not getting into other people's messes. Hopefully we can do that again at Decatur, and maybe add some speed. I'm glad I was able to get these guys a good finish before I leave" Jefferson said, already knowing that he won't be back at Tom Delgado Racing for 2013, and most likely headed back to minor league competition having failed (for the most part) to be able to mix it up with the better drivers in the sport.

- Spoiler:
- Taylor Wins at HLR
After scoring four second place finishes in 2012, Cameron Taylor has finally broken through in 2012. His maiden win came at HLR Circuit, the twisting road course in British Columbia.
"This is amazing. I really never thought we'd be this good. I've really developed as a driver, and this team...it's something else. You won't find a more dedicated group of guys here. And Dan Timothy is a great owner. I'm proud to win for this team here in Canada. I love this track. It's smooth and technical but still fast." Taylor and Troy Adams are the only two championship contenders going into the season finale at Decatur.

Super-sub Brooke Ingwersen continues to impress:
It's been five races since Brooke Ingwersen made her return to the TM Lights Series. In those five races, she has again showed the skill that made her a winner last season in Brazil.
The Round of British Columbia was a new experience for her, though, as her division didn't compete at the HLR Circuit.
In spite of it, Ingwersen qualified well enough to start 10th and, though she was spun out by Mike Andrews in the early portions of Lap 1, persevered, and brought her No. 16 A&W Bolden home where she started - in 10th place.
Team boss Ryan Matthews couldn't give Ingwersen enough praise.
"Brooke has really impressed me, and I'm sure a lot of other people as well," Matthews said. "It was a crying shame that she didn't have a full-time ride coming into this season. I can assure you that, if I have any say in it, she won't have to worry about her 2013 plans."
Matthews Motorsports wraps up its inaugural TM Lights season at Decatur. If things continue to roll along, it may not be the team's last.

- Andrea Kinasa mourns her husbands death with a podium
It was a very emotional week for Andrea Kinasa, as she lost her husband, Scott Morales, in an ARLA Race at Orange County. She would end the week on a bright note with a 3rd place finish at HLR.
She was in tears when she reached the podium. "This week has been very tough on me, after all I have been through this is a good finish for me. I wish Scott was here to see this."

- Cummings Disappointed With Another Poor Finish, Has Word With Blackwell After Race
As usual, it was another frustrating day for Joseph Cummings as he was caught up in an early incident and was later dumped by Mark Blackwell in the race. Joseph Cummings decided to have a word with Blackwell after the race.
"I took a look at a replay of the incident just to be sure," said Cummings, rather frustrated. "Mark (Blackwell) had no reason to take me out the way he did and found it to be uncalled for. This team has had a rough year to begin with thanks to some of the drivers out there not using their heads. I'm honestly glad there's only one race left."
There have been reports that despite the NCC Motorsports being new in the TM Lights Series, they are looking for a driver to replace due to "poor driver performance." It was announced recently that the head coach of the team will be retiring at year's end and are looking for a coach to replace as well. Joseph Cummings and NCC Motorsports are looking to finish off the season on a high note at the season finale.

- Spoiler:
- Adams a bit upset with mistake
Adams was upset with the mistake he made at HLR. 'This is what happens when you qualify in all that madness. You try racing hard to get out of there, & push that little too hard when you're not supposed to. Oh well, still got a decent gap in the championship. Bring on Decatur'

- Sakura Motoko gets knocked out of contention by early chaos at HLR.
Sakura Motoko isn't getting anywhere but further away from the title contention after a stackup early in the race caused serious damage to Motoko's car. She was forced to pit and couldn't get back up the running order. "I did poorly, I should have been more patient." Motoko told reporters before heading to the airport.
