Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach - IndyCar
The IndyCar train heads west to the streets of Long Beach in Southern California. Last year was a crashfest with Mike Conway being the eventual winner for his 2nd triumph at the legendary street circuit.
James Hinchcliffe won in what was a rather random, but sad and crappy if a debut in rainy New Orleans.
What will happen this time? Tune in on Sunday to find out.

I wish this guy was replacing Dracone instead.

He was the fairly competent one though.

Rocky Moran has broken his thumb. Conor Daly will replace him.

I don't think he'll get the chance now (tweet taken from Dale Coyne Racing's Twitter):
BREAKING: @ConorDaly22 will finish the weekend in the No. 18 DCR car as @RockyMoranjr was diagnosed with a broken thumb this morning.

Well it seems his career is off to a rocky start.

Only Dale Coyne Racing could figure out how to go through three drivers in three days.

Helio Castroneves on pole.

And yet Dracone stays put. What a world.

Wouldn't be the first time Coyne had hopeless muppets driving his cars. He had both his cars infamously crash (separate incidents) before the start of the race at Vancouver in 2003. I still love that team and support them wholeheartedly.

The Dale Coyne suckfest has been pretty exciting. The race itself has been pretty meh.
I don't think anything will change in the ten laps left to go as I'm posting this, so good win Dixon.

Not a better race as I thought, but way better than last week. Good win Scotty D. A 5.5/10.

Re: Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach - IndyCar
My feelings on the GP of Long Beach:
Meh, it was alright.
Only one caution all race and merely for debris, which unlike NASCAR, was legit.
Clean racing throughout, and even though the fight for the win was done after the last pitstop, the battle to get on the podium was pretty cool. Montoya, Pagenaud, Kanaan and Bourdais were all right there and ready to pounce on one another if someone made a mistake, which surprisingly didn't happen considering it was four cars under a blanket.
Not exactly pleased that Dixon won, since I really don't like the guy that much, but give him credit where it's due. He finally broke his longstanding stigma at Long Beach.
Overall, the race could've been a little better, but it was nice and clean, and the podium battle at the end was fun to watch in the closing laps.
The 2015 GP of Long Beach gets a solid 6.0/10. Not the best Long Beach GP I've seen, but it was alright.
