Walking around, waving to the neighbo(u)rs dressed as Jamie Mac after a win is tiring work.

- After 15th in Race 1, Delgado Causes Vicious Accident Late in Race 2
It was a disappointing night all around for Tom Delgado & Tom Delgado Racing. In what was supposed to be a triumphant return to the place where Delgado exorcised some of his demons and won the 2013 New York GP, he found himself at the center of more turmoil in race 2 when a vicious accident left him and Kwik Fit driver Lonnie Collins out of the event before a green-white-checkered finish.
While Delgado was unhurt, the same could not be said for Lonnie Collins, sister to Dash Cup star Cassandra Collins, of whom his team Tom Delgado Racing had attempted to sign for their FARC Elite Series program for the 2015 season. The crash sent the younger Collins sister into an exposed armco on the apron of the New York Autoring. After he was treated and released from the infield care center, Delgado did not speak to reporters, but was said to have been looking very distraught. One would assume that was because of the accident, but it could also be the fact that he did not perform up to his expectations in front of his fans.
"Tom actually left the track a few minutes ago. He told me he's following the ambulance to the hospital. He was visibly upset when he gave me the orders to pack the team up and head back to Miami" Delgado's crew chief said. Delgado is provisionally entered in Dash Cup's all star event, the Invitational. He is still expected to compete, but it is uncertain if his mind will be completely focused on the event.

After Seven years and a leg injury later, Canada's Elizabeth Fransisco takes home her first ever Dash Cup win at the New York Autoring.
After a burnout and a mosh pit with the whole Snowdrift team, Fransisco finally got into victory lane.
"I've come so close so many times and it's finally paid off, I am finally a Dash Cup Winner! I feed bad for Lucas, he came so close to winning it too, He'll get his soon."
Fransisco is the highest finishing Snowdrift car in points, in 18th. She is also returning to the team next year, along with Keith and Flint.

- Spoiler:
- Hospital confirms that Lonnie Collins' injuries are not life threatening
After a giant accident with two laps to go which Lonnie Collins hit an opening with the passenger side of her car, doctors in a local New York hospital have confirmed that the older Collins' has not suffered any life threatening injuries, but the doctors have said the injuries Collins has suffered could be career-ending due to an accident Collins had in GT racing in 2011.
Collins suffered from breakages in her right wrist and several bones in her right foot, and has also suffered a grade III concussion. While the injuries may not seem as severe as first thought, Collins suffered a major head injury after a crash at Croft in 2011, and another major head injury could take Collins' life.
At the hospital to see to Collins was Tom Delgado, who Lonnie Collins turned into to spark the incident. Collins and Delgado briefly talked, not about the accident, but Collins was in need of rest. Delgado skipped a media interview after the accident, coming straight to the hospital after being released from the care center.
Jacob Eichholtz also suffered minor back injuries, also not as bad as first expected, and was released from the hospital the very same night.
Hannah Percy crowned the 2014 Dash Cup champion
After being in mathematical contention for the title entering New York for the second season in a row, Hannah Percy came out on top from a fantastic year for Atlantic Motorsports, where her teammate Kellan Rogers finished second. Percy entered the race with a 28 points gap over Rogers, which was extended to 60 points after she finished ahead of Rogers in both races.
"This feels unreal!" said the champion, Hannah Percy, "I can't believe we've done it! These team have worked so hard for the title, and it paid off! Atlantic were definitely the most consistent team this year, we were good week in, week out, and while our luck may not have been there the whole team, we just kept pushing for it and this is what we've earned!"
"I feel bad for Kellan at the same time, however. She's worked just as hard, if not harder than me, and I know what it's like to be in her situation; it was just like that for me last year. She should still be proud of herself, though. She made it tough a lot of the time, but we still remained great friends. She's a great person."
Percy will go over to Team Kwik Fit in 2015 for a part-time schedule, driving the now renumbered #1 car for the European races of the Super Touring Series, as well as select Truck and Oval Stock races.

Matthews: "We got hosed"
What looked to be a promising finish to the second race
"We just didn't have it," Matthews said. "I'd thought we'd have had a top five in the second race, but damned if that caution didn't come out. We got hosed, plain and simple."
He also took time to talk about his sister-in-law coming up just short for the championship.
"I feel for Kell, I really do," he said. "I know what it's like to come up short in a title run. It's no fun. I wish Atlantic had given her a better car than they did, but it's water under the bridge now. I expect she's going to be mad, but she's also going to have to realize that being a champion means you have to handle adversity with grace and poise. I think she will. I've known her long enough."
Rogers falls short in title bid
It just wasn't meant to be.
Kellan Rogers, who came into the twinbill at New York Autoring needing to outscore teammate Hannah Percy by 28 points to claim her first Dash Cup title, struggled mightily in her two races, finishing 18th and 16th - well short of what she needed to do to close the gap on eventual champion Percy.
"This sucks," she said. "To come this close and fall short really sucks. Hannah's been a great friend and teammate, and she deserves to win. I'm just so disappointed."

- Spoiler:
- Thomas De Bock disappoints tabloids by not starting a fight with Stefan Halvari
Following Thomas De Bock's spectacular accident in the first race of the season-ending Dash Cup Championship Night, many sensationalist reporters hoped for a violent confrontation between De Bock and Stefan Halvari, who caused the accident.
After suffering multiple hits with different cars and the retaining wall as well as several barrell rolls, ending up in the infield, De Bock, who was miraculously unhurt, uttered: "What was Stefan doing, the dense f*ck!?".
When De Bock walked towards Halvari's team at the end of the race, cameramen and photographers were following him, hoping for a brawl between the two, but the calm Belgian disappointed them by having a few words with the Finn before leaving.
When interviewed a bit later, De Bock stated: "I am not a violente personne. Of course, I was, 'ow you say, angry? But I wanted to talk wiz Stéphane like I normally woude. 'e apologised for ze accident, and zat was zat."
De Bock finished the second race in 14th position, securing a top twenty spot in the overall standings.
