Moeller snaps back at Tucker
The only reason he tried swiping me is to hide the fact he's a terrible driver! He can't even get my name right!

Re: 2017 Professional Auto Racing Tour (Silly Season)
Jerry Yan angry, Daniel Yan furious, Emma Yan the only highlight for Yan Motorsports this weekend, as Sean Cao and Jessica have decent weekends but nothing special
"Stinks we lost the points lead but the car just wasn't there for us this weekend. We tried to stay out for field position and it worked until we had to pit and then we were never able to get back up there. We are only 5 points back so still a good battle for the championship. Go onto the next one." - Sean Cao
"Getting 8th after having a mechanical issue is a victory in itself. We are still 4th in the points so we are right in striking distance. Just was feeling really good about our car and thought we could win, we were having a great battle for first for the longest time so this one hurts a bit." - Emma Yan
"I don't know how I saved the car from getting destroyed with that final wreck, but hey we got another top 20 finish." - Jessica Yan
"I don't know who the hell was in that 250 car, but we are battling for the lead and you wash up the track, hit me and make me go into the 16. That was just stupid. Keep control of your damn car! It's not that hard!" - Jerry Yan
More turmoil with Daniel Yan and company
*Lap 4 crash between 71, 4 and 196*
Spotter: "Low! Low! Low! Low!...Damn it they hooked us..."
Daniel: "UNBELIEVEABLE! IT'S LAP 4! LAP ****ING 4!
Spotter: "Let's get it to the pits and fix it up."
Daniel: "WERE DONE! ABSOLUTELY DONE!"

Re: 2017 Professional Auto Racing Tour (Silly Season)
APRS News wrote:LUCAS GAGE STOOD DOWN BY ROCKY MOUNTAIN RACERS, SCHNEIDER TO REPLACE
In a press release this morning, the Rocky Mountain Racers team announced that Lucas Gage, driver of the #82 Taco John's Lenard would not be driving for them at the MHL Automotive Finishes 200 next weekend.
This is believed to be in response to a threat by Jethro Jones to leave the team if Gage was not reprimanded for an on-track incident between himself, Jones and Dexter Fairburn during the Holihel Amber Ale 300 at Chicagoland. In a surprising turn of events, RMR have elected to tell Gage to sit out rather than let Jones leave. Neither Jones nor Gage would comment on the announcement and RMR only said in the statement that "certain events have led us to reluctantly ask Mr. Gage if he would sit out the next round of the APRS Launch Energy Series".
All of this is great news to Epps Pro Series driver Ben Schneider, who has been called up to replace Gage for another start in the Launch Energy Series. RMR said, "We believe that Ben is an excellent replacement and has already proved his talent in the Launch Energy Series before".
ROCKY MOUNTAIN RACERS TO JOIN AUTOSPORT ALLIANCE?
Rumours have been flying about whether any more teams will join the Autosport Alliance. The two teams most heavily rumoured to do so are the 4-car Colorado-based Rocky Mountain Racers and single-car entity Microtransaction Motorsports. However, it is now believed that RMR have submitted a formal application to join the Autosport Alliance, sources in the team have told us.

Slip of tongue reveals return of HQS Racing, looking for full time armada in 2016
Ben Atkins has inadvertently revealed that he is hoping to bring HQS Racing back as a full time PART team after their success in their limited time in the previously named APRS series. During an interview before the TM Master Cup series race this weekend, Atkins was asked about his endeavours as a team owner, and in his answer, Atkins stated his Dash Cup team is to be bought out by an unknown source. He said at the end of the interview that "PART should be fun next year", which led to confusion in the media.
Atkins, realising his mistake, decided to reveal plans for a four car team in the top tier of PART race, buying out the Kristoph and Tucker entry. Atkins revealed he was also interested in keeping Mac Hanley and Thomas Tucker in rides, and was also interested in bringing in racing couple Riley McKee and Caitlin Richler, the latter who has driven for him before. Karlie Ellison, the driver of the #2 ACDelco car at the moment, has already revealed she will be leaving the team at the end of the season.
Atkins has said he would like to also drive part-time in the series while keeping up his Master Cup commitments, and this decision came after he misses being a part of an American stock car series, while maintaining his decision to not return to FARC in the wake of the 2014 Lone Star Championships at Texas, where FARC officials stripped his cars of their finishing positions.
HQS Racing did enter for the race at Circuit of the Americas this year, where Caitlin Richler managed to notch a podium. Atkins also won the 2014 Tears TryHard 500 at Talladega SuperSpeedway for his own team. They are also planning to be at the 2015 Tears TryHard 500 with Richler, Atkins and an unknown driver.

Autosport France to get bought out? Former TM Lights owner interested.
Autosport France had a meeting at HQ today discussing their APRS program, with the success of Dash Cup (and the expenses), putting a uncertain future for the 27/88 camp. Ernest Lewis, former team owner in TM Lights back in 2013, with funds of his operation selling last year, has inquired about the team. Lewis is really close to buying the team according to French newspapers. Ernest has said they will keep the contracts of Pellerin and LeBlanc, but with the Dash Cup side not interfering, they will likely expand their operation by a huge amount.
*2016 Lineup* (Ernest Lewis Racing)
PART :
27 - Rebecca Pellerin, Pizza Delight, Saar Eagle (Bouctouche, NB)
88 - David LeBlanc, Tim Horton's, Saar Eagle (Montreal, Quebec)
43 - Lee Schmidt, STP, Saar Eagle (Indianapolis, Indiana)
16 - Jamaal Schmidt, NAPA, Saar Eagle (Indianapolis, Indiana)
PART Cipriani Challenge Series :
88 - Emilie Potvin, Exide. (Caen, France)
27 - Megan Macdonald, Diet Dew. (Bristol, England)
PART Street Stocks Series :
East :
27 : Bernadette Couturier, Adios Airlines (Marseille, France)
88 : Edward Young, Cluckin' Bell (Calgary, Alberta)
West :
27 : James Thompson, Maze Bank (Los Angeles, California)

Fernando Jurnal moving to Nationalist team
Fernando Jurnal will not be in a TurboSports car in 2016. the Spaniard will instead be racing for a new team hailing from Spain. The team would be called Madrid Motorsports, and would have 2 cars and both will be sponsored by Spanish energy company, Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica.
Microtransaction Motorsports and Racing For A Good Cause will stay the same.
TurboSports intentions will be revealed later.

PRO TIP for pretty much everyone: If you're going to complete information from an previous post (hours or even less than a day of difference), just edit it, it prevents clogging the thread with a lot of stuff. It also helps me to organize everything faster.

Re: 2017 Professional Auto Racing Tour (Silly Season)
Emma Yan, OUT for the rest of the season due to injuries sustained in her wreck in round 1
Even though it was reported that she got out of her car, which she did, she was in a world of pain stating she couldn't stand on her leg. She went to the hospital and was diagnosed with a broken left femur bone. She suffered other bumps and bruises but the broken femur will keep her out for the rest of the season.
Yan Motorsports, fails to get a car in the top 10 for the first time in a long time.
Nobody commented, so lets not add more salt to the wound.
Emma Yan Replacement
Sean Cao, 2nd in points, recently turned 19 and his little brother Tom Cao just turned 16 in March, so Sean Cao asked owners Jerry and Jessica could his brother drive to replace Emma. They agreed and Tom Cao will take over for Emma Yan for the rest of the season.
2016 Rumors!
Jerry Yan considering calling it quits?
Despite being one of the surprises of 2014, 2015 has been quite the struggle for Jerry Yan, outside the top 20 in points, good runs have been far and few in between.
"I still want to be a team owner, but it's hard to keep wanting to get into the race car every weekend. It's very draining and I'm not a spring chicken, I feel more fried then anything". - Jerry Yan
Tom Cao might replace Jerry in 2016, provided Tom proves he is competitive enough and impresses the team enough.
Whose staying?
Jessica Yan, Emma Yan, and Sean Cao have been the highlights of Yan Motorsports primarily this season. Their sponsors are happy, they are having fun and enjoy the competiveness. All three of them are basically all confirmed to be staying.
Daniel Yan in danger
Daniel Yan, the best Yan Motorsports in 2014, has had a major fall from grace in 2015. 2 DNQs, multiple DNFs, and inconsistency has constantly bitten Daniel. However, what has been a major turnoff has been his major negative attitude and wanting to pick fights have been a major distraction to the team. His crew is has little motivation to help, his sponsorship is unhappy, and despite having a win this season, he might be in danger of losing his family owned ride.

Re: 2017 Professional Auto Racing Tour (Silly Season)
- SPOILER :
- Pellerin scores 3rd win of the year, increases point lead. LeBlanc still happy.
After a dominating day by David LeBlanc, leading 92 of the 100 scheduled laps, his teammate Rebecca Pellerin passed the 88 and held off a hard-charging Naomi Baldwin in a G-W-C, to collect her 3rd career win. Pellerin increases her point lead to 20 points over Sean Cao.
LeBlanc : (Translated from french) We had the best car, sadly couldn't get it done, but 3rd is still great, plus Rebecca won so that helps the team a lot.
Pellerin : This is the result we needed, after coming so close lately, it feels really good to be back in victory lane, last win was at Ohio, almost 5 months ago. I wanted to also say my well wishes to Emma Yan, great racer, hopefully you come back to the track sooner than later!
Re: 2017 Professional Auto Racing Tour (Silly Season)
TurboSports having 2 new drivers for 2016
TurboSports in 2016 will keep Timmy Welsch in a new number of 014, but thats all of the veteran drivers on the team. Due to the departure of Fernando Jurnal to Madrid Motorsports, and Naomi Alnako returning to Japan to continue motorcycle tours, 2 new drivers will join the team. Benjamin Dangerfield will join in the TurboSports team for all races except for Road Atlanta, Columbia, and Rockingham where he will be in Brazil picketing the IOC to get auto racing in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. At Road Atlanta and Columbia, Alex Constantine will be filling in for Dangerfield. Argentine driver Dante Hernandez will be in the 3rd car for TurboSports full time. Dangerfield will be in the 95 unsponsored car with a similar maple leaf design as 2015, and Dante Hernandez will drive the customary Nintendo machine with the number 8. Also, in addition to the 500 mile events, Alex Constantine will race at Decatur as a birthday present in a number P1 car sponsored by RKO Self Defense.
In other words, Madrid Motorsports have announced the numbers of their 2 drivers. Fernando Jurnal will have the number 144, and Valentina Rivera will be in the 145.

Rumor mill: Burning Heat! Motorsports looking to expand in 2016
Even through an up-and-down inaugural season, Burning Heat! Motorsports is as optimistic as ever. An interview with team owner Jaden Knight teased their plans for their APRS operations to move forward. The key word, Knight insisted, is potential.
"So far, it has been better than I expected. We have had flashes of pace, and we're having less DNFs now that our drivers are getting the hang of their cars, and we haven't had any major mechanical failures. But even as we're improving, there are still a lot of issues to work out, like consistency. Corey needs more pace, or he will just keep doing what he did in Decatur. If you don't want to be lapped, pick up the pace. While he was gone, he did a round of the ATCC at Barber to warm up for Road America, and came out with a top 10 one of his races. Hopefully he's let off some steam and he's ready to come back with his head in the game.
"Meanwhile, Andersonne held up her end while Corey was out, and at least she didn't crash. Honestly, I'm still on the fence about whether she needs another year in the Epps series or not at this point. They both have talent, but I think at this point, it's still pretty raw. Depending on how the rest of the year shakes out, we might even get the funding to run a third car, whether it's in LES or Epps. I've got someone scouting the new people from PART for another talent we can bring in, but we still have a long way to go until next season."

- Spoiler:
- Disastrous season finally turns around for Potvin!
Emilie Potvin, finally collected her first career win, in what most call, deserving. After leading the most laps, in a stand-alone event from the main drivers in APRS, Potvin showed future team owner Ernest Lewis, her talent to stay inside that 88 car for next year.
After the win, Potvin is 13th in points, with a win, 3 top-5's and 4 top-10's.

Rossini Sport preparing to enter Volpi SR560 for 2016
Alessandro Rossini is set to enter a Volpi SR560 in the PART Racing Series for younger brother Giuseppe Rossini who will be stepping up from karts in 2016 at the age of 18. Rossini will enter the same car he began his TM Master Cup career in for Giuseppe Rossini in the #115, and will likely carry sponsorship from Monteshell.

Re: 2017 Professional Auto Racing Tour (Silly Season)
MID/LATE-SEASON PRESS RELEASES AND NEWS
Since there is kind of a need to introduce people to the set of rules and the silly season for the 2016 season, which will start in.......2016 (but I want to get team charts/schedule pretty much set up before September, due to a lot of school stuff, cars I'll start to ask for between mid-November and December). So now, some press releases regarding the 2016 season of the now named Professional Auto Racing Tour.
Car Specs and Rules to Change
Starting with 2016 the two major PART sanctioned series, the Racing Series presented by Cyra and the Cipriani Challenge Series will feature spec cars.
Duncan Racing Solutions and Cromwell Raceworks developed two low-cost bodies, the GT16 and A16 respectively.
The spec bodies come together with an new regulation in the Racing Series, which will limit the manufacturer chassis to one per team, with the A16 and GT16 being allowed to be used by any team that doesn't has manufacturer support.
In the Challenge Series the spec car will be obligatory to all teams.
Major Schedule Changes to take place next season
As it was being predict since the announcement of the rebranding of APRS, the schedule is to be revamped for next year.
The first major change is that Daytona won't be the opener anymore, as the New York State, the birthplace of the APRS, will get the first two dates of the season, the Empire State 500, which will take place at the superspeedway in Albany.
This brings the other major change in the schedule, as the 500-mile Triple Crown is introduced, as Albany, Fort Worth, which will be the place for the Independence Special and Talladega will feature 500-mile events. These events will pay double points.
The driver with best average finish between the ones that start all three Triple Crown Races will receive an special trophy and $150,000.
Additional changes to the schedule are the addition of the Karl's Superstore of Riverside, the Langhorne Speedway, Lime Rock Park, the oval layout at the Mexico City Autodrome, Rockingham and Iowa.
Autosport Alliance Teams slowly fading away from APRS
As the 2015 season gets closer and closer to its end, the Autosport Alliance teams continue to fade away, as the team who are part of it, or left them, or are leaving the series in some capacity.
Nelson Racing's owner, Elton Nelson, said he will not be returning to the Racing Series next season, after having a big loss of money, he decided to run the Cipriani Challenge Series in 2016.
Kouyama Racing Team also had the same issue, Alec Hodges and Trueman Ellison bought the Racing Series operation. In the Cipriani Challenge, Daiki Kouyama will drive the team's only car.
Patterson Motorsports merged with Corwin Racing, team that formely ran in PART on the early days of the series, and now the Corwin Family's third generation buys the Patterson's owned team.
Autosport France will get bought out by former TM Lights team owner Ernest Lewis.
Dan Francis decided to take his team out of the alliance for personal reasons, which are believed to be the partnership between DFM and Phoenix Autosport, a team that is techinically an enemy of Autosport Alliance.
With the Autosport Alliance teams fading into the darkness, the constant conflicts between them and the officials may be end as the final checkered flag of the year gets dropped ot Talladega.
2014 Champion Kelly Ashcroft to return full-time
After missing most of the 2015 season due to personal reasons that are undisclosed until the moment, Kelly Ashcroft announced that she will return to full-time racing in 2016, as the Ashcroft family owned team expands to an 4 car armada, with Julia and Kelly being joined by Aoi Mizushima and Gabriel Macena.
Rookie of the Year Requirements to Change
After an controversial Rookie of the Year battle that saw Boyd Abbott leading the battle after an 5 race suspension the 2016 Rookie of the Year requirements will change, as the Rookies will have their own points championship, which will feature the same points system of all PART sanctioned series.
In this new system, each driver's best 8 results will be counted towards the competition. This bring another rule change for the upcoming season, as the minimum amount of races for each ROTY driver is 8, and the maximum amount if races for all part-timer teams is 16 races.

Moeller Angry at Overton!?
Pete Moeller was livid, but not at the driver most thugh. Moeller the driver of the #46 called out the #87's driver calling her a "hack job" and was "Excited to see her wreck"

Yan Motorsports has a few races it like to forget.
With the exception of Sean Cao getting 10th in the Cromwell Raceworks 200k, nothing has gone all that well, specially with Tom Cao in the Hoosier State 150 causing a few accidents

Burning Heat! Motorsports announces plan of attack for 2016 PART season
Victor Corey had a poor showing at Indianapolis Raceway Park, taking a blow from an early caution and wasting a car that had the pace to hold the leaders off from lapping him. Nevertheless, optimism reigned at the Burning Heat! Motorsports paddock at a post-race press conference discussing the APRS' merger with PART, and where that leaves the team for next year. Roger British, Burning Heat!'s COO, reaffirmed the team's commitment to Carlton-Morel into the new PART Racing Series. "We are proud to run Carlton-Morel Corsairs next year, especially as their engines have shown consistency and reliability all season long. Our R&D teams have made great strides in one year, and we hope to improve even more next season."
"I am also equally proud to announce that we will be running two cars in PRS next season, and that Victor Corey and Stephania Andersonne will be our drivers, running the #77 and #623. We also expect that Andersonne will be our driver for the Cipriani Challenge series, and that she will continue to develop her talents through a more intensive schedule. And lastly, I can report that Super Trucks is currently an option on the table. While we are currently in the earliest stages of planning and assessment of our resources for it and nothing is certain. But with a little more money, anything is possible."

Re: 2017 Professional Auto Racing Tour (Silly Season)
Sean Cao gets another top 10, closes points gap. Jerry Yan the other highlight for Yan Motorsports getting the only other top 10. Daniel Yan scrapes top 20 as Jessica Yan once again wrecks and Tom Cao does nothing.
Ups and downs all over.

Re: 2017 Professional Auto Racing Tour (Silly Season)
As for next season I already have 68 of 72 full-time slots taken (at least with drivers confirmed) I would prefer that people join the other two series (Challenge and SuperTrucks) as there's 9 slots open on the trucks and 10 on the Challenge Series.
