NASCAR at Kentucky
Gonna put all 3 races at the 1.5-mile Kentucky Speedway this weekend on one thread, or should I say Kensucky Speedway. Truck on Thursday night, Nationwide on Friday night, and the Sprint Cup Series on Saturday night. Why NSCS got a Kentucky date is still beyond me.

Sprint Cup only got 42 cars, but Nationwide got 47. Interesting.

If it stays at 42 cars for NSCS, this will be the first time since 2001 season finale that a NSCS race hasn't had a "full field".

I'm going to get the obligatory 300 joke out of the way now: THIS! IS! SPARTA, KENTUCKY!
Which is appropriate to me since Bruton Smith should be kicked into a Pit of Death. But in all seriousness, I'm not looking forward to this race weekend.

Mike Wallace is just another "has been" who thought he was going to be big and superior but turned out to be a total dud of a racer.
Anyways, Brad Keselowski won both poles for NNS and NSCS. He had the NNS race won but a speeding penalty changed the race, and Harvick won over BK.

I'm surprised that Mike is the last Wallace left in nascar. I would have thought that Kenny and especially Steven would have lasted longer.

Re: NASCAR at Kentucky
I can't help but notice how much PRN's coverage of NASCAR races sounds like NBC's old coverage of races from around 2004. The commentators can stay on the topic of the race, and still fool around a lot at the same time. I like this.
It's some comic relief for an otherwise mediocre race. I just woke up and this race is putting me back to sleep.

I hear you, Cynon. He has a few wins in trucks, but I just can't remember the last time he was a contender for a lot of wins and championships.
And the blue deuce is back!!!! But a boring race nonetheless. 3.0/10.

Agree with this. I'm happy for Penske in general. It was a Penske night, sucks a little bit that Joey had engine issues late.
Re: NASCAR at Kentucky
Kyle Busch was closing on Keselowski until Bowyer got in the way, but Keselowski had the best car all night, so I can't complain. Good win Keselowski, but a mediocre race as expected. Think of it this way, we've only got six days left until another Daytona race!
One last thing: Paul Menard, you know I love you, but it's about time there was another RCR car that placed in the Top 5 this season. Ryan Newman finished P3, and that's undoubtedly his best finish this season.
