Sylvania 300 - NSCS - New Hampshire - Race 2 of 10 in Chase
Seeing as the race is tomorrow and BBoy didn't do this one this week (which disappoints me because I do like reading them) I'm going to do it.
This is Chase Race 2 of 10 at New Hampshire. New Hampshire usually produces less than mediocre races but hopefully this can change tomorrow!
Practice 1: Top 10
1. Ryan Newman #39 - 28.473
2. Kasey Kahne #4 - 28.500
3. Jeff Gordon #24 - 28.520
4. Jimmie Johnson #48 - 28.553
5. Juan Pablo Montoya #42 - 28.561
6. Paul Menard #27 - 28.576
7. Clint Bowyer #33 - 28.582
8. Mark Martin #5 - 28.610
9. Jeff Burton #31 - 28.615
10. David Reutimann #00 - 28.624
Starting Lineup: Top 10
1. Ryan Newman #39
2. Kasey Kahne #4
3. Brian Vickers #83
4. Greg Biffle #16
5. Kurt Busch #22
6. Kevin Harvick #29
7. Jeff Gordon #24
8. Kyle Busch #18
9. Martin Truex, Jr. #56
10. Jimmie Johnson #48
DNQ:
Steve Park #35
TJ Bell #50
Not going to post top 10 in either of the Saturday practices, but I will point out David Stremme "won" final practice...
For the most part, Ryan Newman has dominated the weekend on the Cup side of things so he is my pick to win this race. Thus, I think he'll sweep the Sprint Cup New Hampshire races!

Re: Sylvania 300 - NSCS - New Hampshire - Race 2 of 10 in Chase
Well, I know I didn't pick him in the official chase thread, but Ryan Newman is rapidly turning into a dark horse pick for the championship. If he wins on Sunday, it would do wonders for him.

How is a start n' park team the fastest in final practice? Not that it matters.PKligBKFan wrote:David Stremme "won" final practice...

Two races in and Hamlin is this year's "I-didn't-deserve-to-be-in-the-Chase" driver.

Tony Stewart was the last driver to win the championship before JJ started his reign of terror on the field. Maybe Tony will end it. Or possibly Brad or Kevin. Jimmie is now down to 10th in points...

How is it that the Modified race was the best race of the weekend?

The one year I actually didn't give a crap about the series Stewart decides to not be an epic fail in the chase. :/

Let me rephrase that, Tony could win it but this is the fall of JJ's reign

Re: Sylvania 300 - NSCS - New Hampshire - Race 2 of 10 in Chase
Honestly, I think it is going to be Harvick. I really don't want to see Stewart win. Both of his wins he gets on fuel miledge. Not at all how I want to see a champion crowned.

Tony Stewart was lucky to win this race. They just showed the race out here.
