NASCAR at New Hampshire
The 2nd race in the Chase is at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, where Carl Edwards will start on pole next to Kevin Harvick, who will most likely need a win to move onto the next round of after getting into a dust up with Jimmie Johnson at Chicagoland. Kyle Busch won the July race.
Xfinity Series is at Kentucky for the final stand-alone event of the season, which means no Cup drivers in the race for tonight.
Austin Dillon won the truck race at New Hampshire just now.

Very entertaining truck race. Mostly because Kyle didn't win.

Took 159 laps, but our first Chaser has had issues, and that would be Mr. Kyle Busch blowing a right front and into the wall, very similar way that his brother did last season.

Yeah not sure about that call on the restart.

My reaction exactly.
Kind of garbage that Harvick has one of the all time greatest seasons and pretty much has to win in order to compete for the championship, but hell, any sympathy I might have ever had for the guy went out the window after Texas last year... at the same time, the team ultimately only have themselves to blame for the position they're in.

It was a decent race. GW Kenseth.
Harvick has to win Dover to continue competing for the championship, and at the end of the day, he really did brought it on himself after what happened in Chicago. But really, another good example of why this Chase system is so pathetic.
About that restart, Kez gave the spot back. So the fact that he got a penalty was ridiculous.
Anyway, I'll give it a 6/10, IMO.

Reports coming in that Tony Stewart will officially retire after next year. Bowyer to the 14 in 2017.

I'd be happier about my favorite driver winning races if there were a sense of satisfaction to those victories -- that is to say, if he'd win races that didn't suck.
Atrocious race. Yet again par for the course. I think I'm only following this shit out of force of habit at this point.

Re: NASCAR at New Hampshire
I just got done with three straight weeks of work without a day off, and I'm feeling a bit tired, so I'm gonna make this review short and sweet.
This race sucked. Harvick leading a lot of laps sucked much of the excitement out of it, there was hardly any racing once things got spread out, and despite the fact that Harvick ran out of gas, a JGR car wins again, so nothing has really changed. Same shit, different week.
Not to mention the fact that the restart penalty call on Kez was probably the biggest bogus call of the year. We saw a similar restart at Chicagoland with Jeff Gordon and that wasn't called, and here, Kez even gave the spot back and still gets penalized. This is just more of the inconsistent bullshit that NASCAR has become known for in recent years.
This race gets a 2.5/10 from me. This race sucked, this season sucks, and this Chase sucks so far, and I'm expecting Dover to be more of the same... if the hurricane doesn't wash it out.
