Good news! I'm not completely broken. It's been far too uncomfortable to sit in a computer chair for any length of time the past few days, but no broken bones so I guess that's good.

My car wasn't as lucky:

Spoiler:

The truck hit my fuel tank pretty much dead-on. Rear axle was destroyed (the tires didn't spin at all when it was being moved to the flatbed) and my driver's seat was broken from the impact. My guess is it's a total loss, but the saving grace is that it was brand new when I bought it in July.

Definitely not a good (belated) birthday present, that's for sure...

The other pictures are probably worse. Hell, the claims adjuster sounded surprised that I was only "mildly uncomfortable" (i.e. my back hurts like hell pretty damn near constantly and I'm going back to the doctor tomorrow) and that I wasn't rushed to the ER with major injury.

Seat belts, man...all that needs to be said.

Although, when the seat collapses from under you, not sure the belt is as effective.

I had to get rid of Google Chrome after an extension refused to go away because apparently it was "installed by enterprise policy" and was "managed and couldn't be removed or disabled" (it was ad-ware, which is useless anyway because I have Adblock, but I don't want it in the first place.) Thing is, it's usually easy to get rid of, this just crossed the line for me. (Thing is, I'm liking Firefox as much as I like Chrome, but I guess it was time for a change.

On another note, how about that cold?

Rant time! I just need to get this off my chest.

I swear, I believe our tax dollars here can go to a much better use. I was getting on the highway to get home and the next thing I know traffic on the onramp just comes to a complete dead stop. The police in Miami and Florida highway patrol set up a blockade for the highway onramp so we could wait for the funeral parade more or less pass...Sat there for 15 minutes too. It caused major traffic headaches once traffic was allowed to move again but honestly, I can only imagine how much money the taxpayers just wasted with a stunt like that. I can think of many ways the tax dollars can go to better use rather then them being wasted on some dead man's final ride, but yet again when has Florida ever had a bright thought come through their minds?

A. I did. I went to his house where he normally keeps his engineer in a cage in the basement. I broke in while he was sleeping. Nathan (O'Rourke) made a lot of noise, rattled the cage. It woke Josef, which made for an ugly altercation on the main floor. I was able to use chloroform. I said, 'Josef, does this smell like chloroform?' Then Nathan and I made it out the window.
