2017 BAAR Super Pro Series season (Final season results and replays are up!)

OVERVIEW:

The Buckeye Association for Auto Racing, also known as BAAR, is the premier late model racing organization in the Ohio Valley region of the United States for up and coming late model drivers, traditionally visiting local short tracks across the region.

After the 2014 National Pro Cup Championship season, the two organizations that made up the merged organization, the West Coast Late Model Series and the Ohio Valley Late Model Series, came to the conclusion that a national touring late model series wasn't working out, so following the season, the two organizations ended the merger, with the West Coast Late Model Series resuming operations under their old banner. However, the Ohio Valley Late Model Series decided to retain the original idea of using super late models for the 2015, and after some consideration, decided to change their name to the Buckeye Association for Auto Racing, the crown jewel of late model racing in the Ohio Valley.

DA RULEZ:

1. BAAR will be considered IN THE TM CANON, and is considered a regional series meant for development, which means NO FULL-TIME DRIVERS FROM THE D-CLASS ON UP WILL BE ALLOWED. If you don't know what I'm talking about, click here for more information. As far as teams go, I would prefer North American teams on the majority of the roster, but if a well established international team wants a roster spot, I'll allow it.

2. All users can have up to FOUR CARS IN EACH SERIES, AND ALL CAN BE FULL-TIME IF YOU SO DESIRE. However, if you can wheel and deal with other teams, you can have as many drivers as you like, provided they've been approved by moi. Wink

3. Sponsorship rules apply, meaning no sponsors allowed that are on this list, although I might allow some exceptions depending on what it is. Also, both real and fictional sponsors will be allowed in the series.

4. Everyone interested in joining MUST SIGN UP BY PUTTING YOUR ENTRIES IN THE RUMORED TEAMS CHART SHOWN HERE. There's no roster limit.

5. Complying with TM Canon rules, only fictional manufacturers will be allowed in the series. However, if you're interested in submitting your own manufacturer, by all means. Very Happy

6. Super Pro will use the Outlaw mod.

7. Part-time cars may run up to 4 races, including Championship events.

DA RATINGS SYSTEM:

To make things easier, ratings will be predetermined for each series.

Super Pro: All 0-70

Rating Bonuses:

+5: A driver has 1-5 wins
+10: A driver has 6-10 wins
+20: A driver has more than 10 wins or has competed in a D-Class or higher series with more than 15 starts
+30: A driver is a former series champion or a former champion in a higher series

I believe there was a CRL car that had the previous Winter Olympics as a sponsor, so I don't see why not.

I've added a team chart for the prestigious events, so the page won't be so cluttered with all the different charts for the races.

You may sign up any number of teams you wish on the chart, but you must also specify which races your team is entering. If your team is entering ALL OF THE PRESTIGIOUS EVENTS, PUT "ALL" IN THE RACES BOX.

When one of the prestigious events is coming up, I will specify a due date for your cars, so if you don't get them in by that time, you won't get to race, no exceptions.

That is all.

As long as I have your car, you'll be able to race, but unless you want your car running at granny speeds, then I'd suggest getting your ratings in as well. Razz

Each team's number is color coded. If it's blue, you're good to go. If it's green, I have a car but no ratings. If it's white, I don't have anything.
