Unfortunate news for deathcore fans. The band Suicide Silence lost frontman Mitch Lucker in a motorcycle accident early this morning.

Really sad to hear this....Saw them last year at Mayhem Festival in Mountain View and they by far tore the house down and had the crowd going absolutely insane. Re: The Music Thread
Huffington Post author Rob Brooks posted his memories of hanging out with Mitch and the band. Despite not being a fan of their genre he really enjoyed their presence, and I think this article serves as a good eulogy to one of the most distinct voices in modern death metal.

!Dos! by Green Day is pretty average unfortunately. Best songs of the album are Fuck Time (yes that is an actual title of a song), Nightlife, and Stray Heart.

Is Zak Starkey still playing with them? He's the only guy I can think of that can match Moon's energy.

I'll be honest. This was the one from the movie that I always liked. Even though they only played about 30 seconds of it at the very tail end of the credits.

The songs did fit well, but the only thing I'm confused about is the sort of connection this song along with s few others actually had with Pokemon.

Re: The Music Thread
Ok, I said I was going to see on here yesterday. Well, here is a video of one of the song from the performance from someone who was there. I tried to get video or pictures but the glare from the stage and the lights made it very fuzzy so you wouldn't be able to see anything.
It was the most unbelievable show ever.
And how Roger can still hit some of the long and high notes on Love Reign O'Me, I don't know.

Re: The Music Thread
I realized it's been a while since I've posted songs on here so I thought I'll just leave a few that I like and often listen to:
Bad assery material.
I like some of their songs, including this one.
Full version of one of the bumps Toonami has used.
I've listened to some of Fade's other songs and they're pretty good, IMO.

Re: The Music Thread
I apologize if my spamming of artist info gets annoying and unnecessary. Just ask and I'll remove it.
To be honest, RJA's newer stuff seems like they've gone in a completely different direction from what they were, even though they tried to go back to the roots of their first album with more of an aggressive, rockish sound. But they couldn't bring the emotional intensity back, which is why I despise the newest album. But the Hell or High Water EP is my personal favorite.
Now Story of the Year has done the exact opposite of RJA and succeeded to bring their old sound back. Well, there never was an old sound because their sound has practically been the same since this album in 2003. Aside from their previous EP and In The Wake of Determination, that is.
I. Hate. Bands. That. Reuse. Songs. More. Than. One. Time. On. A. Freaking. ALBUM! Saosin managed to show their lack of creativity and used the exact same song twice and altered one and gave it a different name. Most of the songs from their eponymous EP sound the same, with Bury Your Head and It's Far Better To Learn as two exceptions.
...almost as bad as Saosin, but they didn't directly alter one song, make it a seperate song and put it on the same album. But comparing Pens and Needles/Saying Sorry and Ohio Is For Lovers/Silver Bullet, they sound awkwardly similar. However, there are many significant differences. The only one not on their first album, Saying Sorry, is my personal favorite, but this group cannot differentiate the sound of their songs on an album to save their lives. Same issue as the Saosin EP.
Really like Silverstein's aggressive yet heartfelt sound. Their music really makes the listener capture the raw pain it conveys. However, I dislike Shane Told's singing. It almost sounds like he isn't ouring any real emotion into it, especially in the music videos, making himself look uninspired and bored. Unless he makes it look easy. Regardless, Silverstein is one of my favorite bands ever for their agressive emo sound and story-telling lyrics.

Surprised Blink is still going. They've gotta be around their late 30's-early 40's. Still a pretty good song.
