2013 Cheez-it 355 at the Glen

Will we see another Keselowski VS Ambrose showdown for the 3rd Watkins Glen race in a row? Well we'll see.

Last year's race was epic, so to speak for the finish itself. Maybe with the Gen-6 cars we could equally or an even more exciting race this time around. With Max Papis in the 14 car for this race replacing the injured Tony Stewart, he could be quite a good contender for the win. And also back in the 19 car for this week...

A total of 43 cars will enter this race, so no one will DNQ.

Truex fastest in first practice, a second faster than Ambrose.

notables in the top 10 are Casey Mears 5th and Allmendinger in the JTG car 7th.

I can't remember Mears ever performing exceptionally well on road courses before. It's cool to see him up there!

well, Gordon's done. doesn't look like it will be Keslowski either. (Kyle Busch is my pick for the win at this point, but something usually goes wrong for him towards the end of this race)

Pretty damn good race, with a crapton of shenanigans all throughout. Of course, that's road racing for ya. Laughing

Kyle Booosh wins after the last two Glens saw him leading late, but something happens and takes him out of contention. Kez tried his damndest to get around Kyle on the last lap, but just couldn't pull it off. Helluva effort, though.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd say both road races have been the best races of the year so far. And next week, Nationwide heads to Mid-Ohio. Drool

The Cheez-It 355 @ Watkins Glen gets a solid 7.5/10.

Great racing overall. BK almost got into Kyle's right rear quarter panel, but still a good effort though. Sucks for Ambrose to get into that tough ordeal. This race is an 8.0/10.

Another good Glen race in the books. Albeit the finish was another nailbiter....The last two years beat it out on insanity levels.

If Kez wants get in the chase....he needs to not falter from here on out.
